So I ripped 7 blasters. A 1st auto, 7 Lunar Glows, 3 spotlights (Gunnar, Riley Greene, and Josh Jung), and 6 numbered parallels. Not to mention a mountain of chrome firsts.
Prelander has some good stuff. Starting at our AA, probably destined for the bullpen, but I don't think they want to give up on him as a starter. Got him from the Giants for trash, ask anyone who follows the Giants closely and they will curse that trade. I'd gladly take it off your hands.
Love the Bowman breaks! That Gunnar Spotlight is too clean. Now to try and catch up with a few Bowman breaks of my own, been counting the minutes on that Topps order. 😬
first time MLB breaker here and just wanted to stop by and say thank you for all the informative videos that you do on your channel. it really helps the rookies like myself get into the game!
The Spotlight cards remind me of the old 1993 Score Franchise cards. My favorite is probably football but all three sports look great, very undervalued insert set, they were only one per box.
Since the Lunar Glows are 1 per blaster box, they're probably going to be as popular as a pink from Topps Chrome. They're super common, but they are a parallel, which makes it at least easier to sell than base.
I think they got to eat a hot meal when it was discovered that minor league players were for some reason living in like 1800’s style slums with 1 outdoor bathroom and only eating fast food. Why it took so long for them to find out this info…. I have no idea.
dude, your shirt in the opening was my first numbered card I got since jumping back into the hobby, a Bo Jackson 1986 /199 black parallel from 2020 topps series 1 blaster manufactured relic
I've bought 2 blasters and got an auto in one and 2 numbered in the other (blue shimmer /150 and yellow border /75). Retail seems to be a bit juiced. You are probably correct, might be the way to go!
The future likes brought good vibes!! Nice hits! My first blaster this weekend, I pulled a Jackson Holliday auto! Looking forward to picking up a hobby box this weekend.
Another great rip enjoyed this one as I do with all your videos. I managed to land 3 blasters from my Wally World and ripped those over the weekend. I can honestly say I did a little bit better than your video break down of this product. I landed 5 Lunar Craters all bowman 1st all very young, All of my Bowman Chromes were 1st with the exception of 3 and all youngsters, I got one spotlight in two boxes and 2 in one box all were 1st except for one and all are youngsters once again the 4th one is Roderick Arias. I landed the Blaze Jordan paper Pink 136/299, Gleider Figuereo paper Purple 211/250. Bowman Top 100 I landed Anthony Volpe ranked #3 and Diego Cartaya ranked #10 I got 3 others but much further down the line. I landed 4 Rookie of the Year Favorites Brett Baty, Riley Greene, Josh Jung and Adley Rutschman. I landed all of the main rookie base cards that you'd want to hit i.e., Baty, Greene, Outman, Vargas, Rutschman just to name a few. All of my inserts, parallels, ROTY Favs and what not are all nicely centered with no surface issues or problems that I can tell or make out without using a scope. My rookie bases and Chrome 1st are all nicely centered as well with no surface issues that I can make out. Going to be getting a lot of these cards graded and hoping to nickel and dime my way back for the money I spent. Wally World had these at $33 and some change here where I live after taxes it all came out to $35 and some change per blaster box. Over all I thought I did well, what do y'all think?
I think Bowman goofed on numbering again. I listed a Zach Neto /499 last night on eBay only to find another one that’s 223/499 same as mine 😂 should be fun hunting that down.
There is no number/50 on that gold shimmer. Please Check for me as I am thinking of purchasing some card packs myself. Thanks for all you do for the hobby.
That Prelander Berroa is a nice hit as a Mariners fan. He will be a starter for us in a few years, had a very solid spring training. Believe he's only 19.
I just watched this video last night and saw the pitcher auto. Then I thought to myself, “There’s no way I’m going to hit a pitcher auto in my hobby box that I just bought.” Lo and behold because God has a sense of humor, I pulled the same pitcher auto (only it’s a purple, not gold shimmer). I hate life.
