You know what I love? Changbin is so patient when listening to Felix. He helps him piece together his sentences when he's having trouble, easily understands what he means, and is an active listener: eye contact, head nods, responding to his words. As someone who used to suffer really bad from social anxiety and now works with seniors, I can tell when people are having trouble and appreciate those who remains a positive and understanding person. You can clearly see why the members like Felix and Hyunjin love talking to him.

He's a very talented young man and in due time, has parents may come around to the idea of him being an idol. i think the reason changbins parents were so immediatly proud of him while felixs werent was because of the cultural differences, like i doubt felixs parents even knew what JYP was or waht a big company it is

Felix found Changbin cool the very first time they met. There was some sort of performances and Changbin sat next to him and he thought "Woah, this hyung is so cool" Changbin added he already knew why and it was because of his chin. Felix have told him that it was what every foreigners would want to have, that he'd be so cool if he goes overseas. Felix added that Changbin's very kindhearted. That even if there's language barrier, he kept talking to him in broken english, to make him comfortable and to get close to him .

Its actually pretty sad because felix said that up until now, he still didnt get full blessing from his parents to be a singer. Felix ah~ fightingggg!!!

September 2021 still coming here. Update: Felix’s family supports him now and very proud of him. Changbin is one of the best rapper in kpop.

The fact that Changbin says that he gathered all the English he knew, even if it was so difficult for him, in order to speak to Felix, and the fact that he writes to him that he can count on his brothers when he feels vulnerable, just shows what an amazing heart this guy has and how much he cares for his friends. No wonder Felix adores Changbin so much. Changbin tried to talk to him despite huge language barrier because he was emphatizing about how lonely was for Felix as a trainee and to go to Korea alone (yes he had a grandpa but still not enough time to adapt with the situation). That's why Felix show a lot of affection toward Changbin even since the predebut era. He even chose Changbin as the person he was most thankful for in the other clip. And I can see how Changbin was aware and touched by Felix's affection. I hope their relationship stays the same forever.

I am baffled that Felix’s parents arent super proud of him. He learned a second language, can dance, can sing, and can rap and he’s in an amazing group that has gained so much traction in only 2 years where it feels like they’ve been around for at least 5 years. All I can imagine is just Changlix struggling to communicate together in English during their trainee days, and Felix trying to help Changbin with his English, then Changbin going back home everyday to learn more and gather everything he knows about in English just to talk to Felix more. That Changbin knew how hard everything is for Felix, a foreigner, so he put his 100% in to understand him more than others. And I know this isn't about ships but hearing this -- it just makes me want to cry. I see how much they love and care for one another. It's almost like they're each other's lifeline back then and they took so much joy in just talking together during the day. God I'm so soft.

Felix is so right though. Maybe Changbin doesn't fit Korean standards exactly but he is a good looking guy even still, and definitely people outside of Korea would see that more readily. I feel bad for them that attractiveness is this one tiny box that everyone has to try to fit into, when the reality is that lots of different people are very attractive for different reasons.

1:06 I remember some of the members saying Felix sometimes picks words that are more formal/less colloquial bc his Korean is more book learned. Judging by Changbin’s expression here I think that’s what just happened xD

I believe that Felix is come from very traditional elite or business base family who really see education is important and maybe still have stigma about entertainment. His family is kimda well off and maybe have high expectation towards him. He also quite secretive about his family, i mean we all only knew he eat steak for breakfast even Chan shocked. And the way felix act he looks very decent and full of etique.
