My uncle Claude Sylvah and crew flew from Gransden Lodge with RCAF 405 Pathfinder sqdn Nov 1943 to May 9 1944 when they were shot down and killed on their 29th Op together in Lancaster LQ-D ND587. I have had the privilege of going for an hour flight in our Canadian flying Lanc, VR-A. I dedicated my flight to the crew.
