Ive banged them off a few branches, i leave them on trailering the rzr down the highway over 70 mph and ive had zero issues. the magnetic mounts seemed like they might not be able to hold up ( because my whips are mounted on an angle ) but they've stayed put. Highly recommend. 5150 has also been building whips for around 10 years now. Tried & true. Plus their warranty is above all. ANYTHING happens, whether you smack a branch or your dog chews your whips, they replace them free for life. you just pay shipping. pretty astounding if you ask me.
The controller has both a brake light wire and a turn signals wires coming out for you to connect to your setup to turn your whips or other lights yellow or red
