New catapult .... no, not WOMBATS, firstly, you wouldn't kill it you'd just make it angry and nobody wants to see an angry WOMBAT; secondly, we generally don't kill WOMBATS because we like them.
You two are a magnificent buffet of joy, friendship, delicious cuisine, booze, bushcraft, spoons and junk dunkery......I hope you two buggers live forever. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Apparently Northern and Midland England, along with the West-country (particularly Cornwall) traditionally call a swede a turnip. Although I (Cornish) have always known it a swede- maybe because I was in farming. Originally it was a cross between an actual turnip and a more leafy brassica. Here in the US it’s a rutabaga. The name rutabaga comes from the original Swedish name for it. An important ingredient in a Cornish pasty- meat, usually beef, swede, onion, potato, salt, pepper- can rely on the ingredients to provide moisture or gravy can be poured in through one of the slits in the pastry. Original jack-o-lanterns were carved out of swedes or mangel wurzels.
