@@Woodswalker1965 LOL, it was good to see her in a video, well some of her in a dimly lit shot. I know she doesn't like to be on video. Say hi from me!
Hello Wade & Mrs. Wade, Love The New Swift ! Great Time Spent With Ya's ! Lasagna Sure Looked Great ! Book Is Spot On For Those Interested In Dehydrating. Happy Paddling, Friends ! ATB T God Bless
Hey Wade, great outing with the Missis! Congrats on the new canoe, I'm sure it is a dream to paddle and portage. And great job on the lasagna. That looked delish for sure. Glad yo hear you got out a lot this summer!
Love the Swift inegra, looking into one myself. Beautiful country you have up North,i live not far from the Adirondacks...my own little slice of heaven. Keep those videos coming, going to check out your link on the back country-eats. Cheers to tight lines & beautiful weather, may they both enlighten our days.
Great video as always Wade ! Just doing some catch-up. Was away on a 2 week moose hunt which was successful and then got sick after I got home. Finally starting to feel better so it's binge watching time !!! 👍👍🍻🛶
Hi Wade, i watched the video and was wondering about how you managed to organize packing and storage that much gear you and Mrs. Woodswalker bring with you in just a small canue. Maybe someday you could make kind of an organizingvideo; packing- and gearstoring for a trip like that. Would be very interesting to me. Thanks for the beautiful video, very nice scenery and again a lot of new interresting input. Cheers to Mrs. Woodswalker of course
Hey buddy, it is a lot of stuff isn't it lol. You can fit a lot of stuff in a canoe though. Two 70l dry bags and a 30l blue canoe barrel is a lot of space even when Mrs Woodswalker joins😀. Compression sacks are important to use to keep the bulk of the gear down as well. Thanks for the video idea and as always thanks for watching💪
Looks like a really nice spot. That canoe looks like a winner for sure. I think I caught a glimpse of the elusive Mrs W standing on the shore 😆 nice to get out with the better half. Especially on these shoulder season trips where you get the place to yourselves
Thanks for the video. I ordered the Swift Prospector 15 Combi and am looking forward to getting it in April. I have a 14' solo boat now and find it a bit too tippy for me. I tested this model and other solo models last fall and ordered it on the spot .
You won't be disappointed with the Prospector 15. Super stable for one or two people. It's essentially a Chestnut Bob's Special I've been told. A classic design. May I ask what solo boat you currently have?
Don’t forget to watch Kevin Ride and Kevin Callan on CW Goetz’s The Camping Show podcast tomorrow night (12/29/21) at 6pm talking about camp cooking. I have The New Trailside Cookbook (Callan) and Backcountry Eats (Ride) sitting on the table in front of me. I’ve been flipping through them all day lol
Any chance you can add a couple of days on a backcountry trip, you gotta do it....I find the 2 man tents a little easier with a dog, and there doesn't have to be much of a weight penalty.
