the best part of the last titan phase is that you arent falling through a cave, no no, thats titan losts body, if you wanted a proper sense of scale there it is because that entire last phase was still above ground

For y'all confused by the ending... Ultima is big on vessels and what they contain (will & consciousness). He basically manipulated Odin with the people he loves and respects to strengthen his hold on Odin's will. He saved the best memory for last, which is Odin's recollection of his mother at a very young age....this is a pure case study of how narcissistic Ultima truly is....get your minds out the gutter people🤣🤣

Theorizing, 37:48 Alright, so now we properly get to know who's working under Ultima. It's this guy, who's Eikon is Odin I believe. Seeing this talk of "Mythos" seems like Ifrit was supposed to be a sacrifice for Ultima to grow stronger. It's probably that's why Ifrit sometimes refuses to come out because he knows his purpose and he wants to avoid it at all costs. Seeing Clive being able to summon Ifrit that easily in the Bahamut fight, means that even Ifrit is complying now. Ifrit is definitely a bridge between all Eikons because he can borrow from them all. I called him the Eikon of Chaos before but Ifrit is more like a Guardian Eikon tbh.

Thr reason why you got major DMC vibes from Titan is because the composer, Soken, also made the Final Fantasy XIV score, and every fight against Titan in XIV comes with a banger soundtrack that he got inspirations from DMC, Bayonetta and SMT

I think the Ultimania databook explained it a bit what happened with Olivier. Pretty dark but it seems to suggest Olivier was either stillborn or killed at birth by Ultima but definitely turned into his puppet by then. The child was real but technically born dead but Ultimas power governed over him.
