Taehyung have the widest vocal range in BTS. He is the only baritone in vocal line, he always sing in other vocal line member range in bts song , only on his solo (stigma Singularity winter bear, Scenery, Snow Flower Sweet Night Inner child) he sing on his range. He really have a good control he improve his live !

@@taeberry3518 Actually he is a vocalist. He trained as a vocalist but BTS needed another rapper so he trained with the help of RM and Suga to become a rapper. He may not be a vocalist for BTS but if you listen to some of their songs you will hear him singing not rapping.

When BTS went to L.A. to learnt about Hip-Hop history, their mentors were Warren G, Coolio and Iris Stevenson. Till that moment Teahyung (or V) didn't had a defined voice he was the baritone and did a lot of grunts lines on the songs, Iris was the one that focus on his soulfull voice and encouraged him to embrace that voice. And probably who inspired his love for all genres specially jazz.... he also loves Opera.

And music is anything you make of it, and message of any art is the viewers discretion, but don't try to bone person who knows Korean language while this is playing, who can understand the lyrics, or a person who knows the lyrics - not gonna get lucky.. tears, anguished sobbing.. More likely. Same singer's Singularity is better with that.. Although those lyrics talk possibly something about drowning into spring river and not in a good way.. But you never know if it works.. :/ WitherVoice was so wrong with their vulgar assessment of this song. It is a crying boy who stabbed his abusive alcoholic father to death with a broken bottle to protect his sister and his sister went to jail for him. You know the everyday love song. @@BigBrainSinger Sorry to disappoint you but it isn't :D Of all their songs, this one written by V, who himself sang the song, never revealed the meaning of the song. I have a pretty good idea, but I think the title itself STIGMA and the lines "are you calling me a sinner," "I'm sorry, i'm sorry, i"m sorry my brother/sister," clearly says it isn't a sexy song. It's more about self-realization, self-acceptance and the stigma attached to it.

Yes, kpop is not a genre and bts themselves don´t consider kpop as a genre, kpop is an industry. I think that labels are unnecessary in these cases, why separate the music only by its language and box it in a single genre when their music includes so many genres? For this same reason, Latin music is separated into other categories in the awards and does not compete with english speaking artists in the main categories. Did you know that some American awards created a kpop category so that they couldn´t nominate bts in the main categories? I'm from Mexico so sorry for my bad writing

V (Kim Taeyhung) has a great voice and has also become one the main dancers in the band. Have you listened to him singing "Singularity"? You will not only enjoy the voice but the theatrical aspect as well. "House of Cards" and "Pimple" performed live will give you a very good idea of how the vocal section of BTS sound like. Better watch their live performances rather than the studio version since they do it much better. Thanks for reaching and admiring Tae's voice. He's my bias. 🇻🇪💜🇰🇷

You can't find out that type of song in K-pop That's why singularity being most critically claimed song ever in BTS whole discord and first Korean solo track played in BBC Radio. Taehyung’s voice is unique to Taehyung. You can compare him to all the artists you want to, but his voice is just beautiful, and his tone is hard to even describe. I can only hope that his mixtape is full of R & B. His voice lends itself so well to that genre. It’s enough to truly melt you into a puddle of chill.

The song is so incredibly intriguing as is “V” wrote it at quite a young age. The song is not sexual in itself, but when “V” looks into the camera have emits the most sensual emotions of his face it can be misleading. As for his vocals I would use the words dynamic duality. He creates emotions that are beyond beautiful. He just won an award for another song he wrote “Sweet Night”, from KDRAMA, Itaewon Class Florida tube Original Soundtrack. Totally a musical genius. appreciate you taking the time to listen to taehyung. i feel like his singing is so underrated in bts (especially by korean critics, since they seem to typically like higher, flowery vocals like jungkook or jimin). i think this song is particularly significant for tae too (lyrics-wise), and i believe he described it as neo soul. i agree with the other commenters who said he has evolved more than any other member, since their debut. he's gained confidence, and he CONTINUES to improve. thank you also for acknowledging bts as more than just a kpop band. they write the majority of their songs, they constantly push the boundaries, but still manage to stay humble, as well as promote positivity/strength/love/respect/unity in their music. 💜 welcome to the army family 💜

Taehyung/V has one of the wildest vocal range. But what I admire so much about Teahyung is how much of a renaissance he is when it comes to music. He is the one who listen to 70's Quincy Jones, Bobby Caldwell, Billie Holiday. Tae, is a crooner and usually sing that style. But one of his most soulful singles is Singularity, very neo-soul. It gives D'Angelo/Maxwell vibes. Decibel should do a reaction.

He is still the most underrated vocalist in bts ! he said that he wanted stigma performance to be fully live with the least or no backup vocal . I feel like the most underrated singer in BTS is Jin tbh, Singularity and Stigma got A LOT of love in the fandom, especially Singularity as one of the best bts solos ever released. I agree for the vocal range part, his range is just so wide, and his voice is very rare in kpop. I've never heard any kpop idol that sounds like him. That's why he is my bias.

@@-amel-9896 i disagree with it - when you talk about jin , then people go like yes he can sing high notes and you can hear that in bts songs as well . but when it comes to V , the ones who have just been exposed to bts and not thier solo work - they haven’t recognized V as a good singer because he does the low notes . people have this thing in mind that hitting high notes all the time are the only one who are great singers. sometimes he also gets barely few lines in songs or previously in songs they only gave him parts where he had to growl that’s it . eg. Fire ,jump,no more dream. so back then he even faced so much of backlash that he can’t sing

@@zebaansarkhan professional vocalist, coaches and ppl with some singing experience like myself will recognized Tae's talents. he is my favorite bts vocalist, loved it from when i first heard it but fav when i heard stigma bc he has impressive range and can hit high notes, which is difficult to do. i'm a second soprano so i prefer higher octaves but i love his unique tone. Baritones don't get as much lines as tenors in general and he is a 'vocalist' just like Jin so they get less lines than main or lead, unfortunately. I think Jin is very underrated as a singer, but i appreciate him more and been impressed with his progress, very inspiring person.

You mentioned theatrics. Watching Singularity also by Kim Taehyung, stage name V, is a must. I suggest watching the MV first then the live stage mix. Watching him move and sing at the same time is like watching moving art. His face is also a work of art, being voted the Most Handsome Man in the World for 2017 and 2020.

The reason why they can do so many different styles and still be so authentic is because that's what you get when you have 7 individual artists with such distinct personalities and musical abilities, who are not only talented in their specialty, but are also not afraid to evolve and try new things. Some people who don't know them say "7 members is too much for one band", but having in mind that they could all easily go solo and make it big by themselves, yet chose to work together, the amount of creativity and diversity in their art is unmatchable.

in my opinion, even though the lyrics are not hard to interpret at all, stigma is one of, if not the most mysterious song ive ever came across. it's like i don't know what the singer went through to write those lyrics and im desperate to help, comfort and support them, but i am also scared to know because of how painful it sounds. that mysterious and painful aura is probably the main reason why i keep going back to listen to it almost everyday

Reason why they have such a big following is because 1. The meaningful lyrics. They write their own music and even produce a lot of them too. They don't sing about the typical love and relationships like majority of other boybands or boy groups do. They write music on mental health, self-love, empowerment etc. They often take inspiration from literature classicals, greek mythology, psychology and so many other things. 2. They are the most humble, down to earth and genuine people. Unlike a lot of celebrities, they share so much of their lives with us. This is the reason why we feel so close to them. They never let fame get to them. I swear if you watch their interviews and videos, you'll think you've never met people like them before. 3. THE TALENT. They can sing, rap, dance, act etc etc. It's insane. You'd expect girls being crazy about them but you'd be surprised by the amount of male following they have. Most of us look up to bts as our role models. I hope you guys get to know them and you won't regret it :))

for me V's voice is very opposite from the other 3 vocalist of bts because among the 4 of them V has dark and sexy voice while the other is on the brighter and higher side, though in my opinion he can compete with them because V's vocals is very flexible. though I Like when V and Jimin is harmonizing

Taehyung definitely has the widest vocal range because he can go super low and high. I would also recommend you to react to one of Jungkook's live vocals. He's another member in the group, and is the main vocalist. He can't go that low, but has the most stable voice and can probably stay the most stable while hitting the high notes. Also, they are amazing performers. Their dances are amazing
