A major plague to honeybees is the Varroa Destructor, a parasitic mite that attacks the bee and it's brood. This video shows two tools to used to kill the mites.
I had an issue when I first charged the DeWalts. They didn't keep a charge at first. So, I charged them a couple times without dischaging them. And so far they worked but, I haven't used this system much to be sure. Jury is still out as to how much I like the system. A lot of money up front. But, it does seem to be easier than running wires. I had to run 2 sets of jumper cables to reach some of my hives with the corded system.
