Really liked Theme Hospital back in the olden days, really liking this. And like you said, it feels performant. Only the autosaves cause a little pause, but otherwise the game is a pleasure to play! Also: Cheers for fixing the sound level, this was a really pleasant watch :)

Yes buddy, it was cause of you that we looked into our sound and did a lot of research as to why it wasn't outputting to a loud level even though we have very good equipment. Turn out was our software so we have fixed that now so the output is a lot richer without compromising quality or having spikes. Cheers pal and glad you enjoy the game

Highly considering 2PH as I just bought a Switch to play Animal Crossing. I have nothing to do when I've accomplished my tasks in AC and looking for a new game to fully maximize the Switch. I played Mall Tycoon as a kid and this seems kinda similar, no?

If you like these types of games then they have similarities as they are simulation games all about maximising bottom line. Seems a bit horrible when talking about hospitals especially at this moment in time it makes you think. Patients always come before money. In reality it's not the case. 😔

Theme Park was a fantastic Sim. Bullfrog was always a fav from my past. I played their game Magic Carpet also designed by Peter Molyneux a million times on the PC.

It's no coincidence,its the embargo time the Publisher give. So this was a 3pm UK time release so of course outlets will do their best to get their reviews out at the embargo time so thats often why you will see the same review from multiple outlets go live at the same time

sandbox and the third dlc will arrive for free at the end of march, it' looks like it was a matter of time they did not want to postpone the launch a second time , meanwhile i am having a blast with the game already at the 4 hospital, performance are amazing(leve 11 reputation hospital with a lot of patient and staff and no even a minimal lag yet) and controls are good.

Thanks! Great Review! I pre-ordered this physical. Looks to be more of a hard core sim than I had imagined. Those tiny words might test my old man eyes. The way the game is set up, it doesn’t look like they could simply patch the UI and increase the font size (like Fire Emblem) because there’s TOO much info on the screen.

Game crashes for me after I load my hospital.. anyone have this trouble? I dont know how to fix it

Hi Veronica, we didn't encounter it. Before anything make sure you, close the software, power down your switch and restart. If that does not work then In this situation, if you have not played much, uninstall the game and reinstall. What memory are you using? Is it main? Or memory card? Is the game digital or physical? Either way install the game on the Switch internal memory instead of memory card and see if that works if you are using external memory. If already using internal then delete the game or save and reinstall. If none of that works then i would contact the developer.

@@SwitchWatch thank you. It is a digital copy, downloaded to sd card. All other digital games work fine. I went to "manage software" and clicked on the "check for corrupted data".. came back fine.. I tried reinstalling already, but I will try your suggestion next and install on internal system instead of sd card. I'll let you know if that worked. Thanks!

i have the game and i am already at mitton university with 3 stars and a lot of staff member and patients , nope, is smooth , framerate i dont know but i still have no lag at all, is very well optimized

I can relate. Theme Hospital was freaking difficult for me at the time, what didn't prevent me to have a blast playing it whatsoever. Looking forward to this one.

Here`s an issue with this game; highlighting correct people or item is really darn hard with the analog. Especially tiny items or in built up areas. The graphics have also taken a huge hit when compared to the PC version. Only get this on Switch if you want this in handheld mode, on the go. For big screen, get the PC version. Cheaper. Superior. Easier to control.

Still a month before we leave for the island. Time enough to heal some people. But... if it’s about money, than yeah, I think Animal Crossing is the one to buy.
