I watched them live in concert in Chicago! They’re unreal! Are they even human? The energy they give off is off the charts! It’s so fun to watch them in concert. It was worth every penny I spent to see them live in concert!

“MANA” is a highly conceptual R&B- and EDM-influenced track whose title is short for manananggal-a vampire-like Filipino mythological creature whose body is split into two with the upper half flying and its lower half remaining firmly on the ground. Drawing allusions to the nature of the manananggal, the song also represents the group soaring to uncharted heights in their explosive career while remaining grounded in who they are.

Those “unique little voices” they were throwing in are actually their simulation of the cackles and lnoise the manananggal makes. Stell’s prolong “scream” is a mimic to the creature’s shriek. Mana is short for manananggal, that mythical creature in Filipino folklore that splits its body in tow:upperpart flies high in search of prey while the bottom part stays on the ground. The song is SB19’s way of saying they may soar high in the career but they stay grounded (humble). Pronounced another way, manananggal also means “remover” (of doubts cast by naysayers for which SB19 has had so many especially during early years).😊 Thanks for rae ting to the boys yet again.

Their performance at Jvke’s concert was nice to watch as a fan because a lot of people there didn’t know SB19 since it’s Jvke’s concert and they are there for Jvke, but it was so touching to see casual listeners enjoyed their performance live, especially crimzone for me personally. But their concert in the Philippines is probably better to watch? Because they have dancers and all. I hope later they could tour with a live band & dancers too. I mean, I know they would, in the future!

mana is actually a wordplay or a short term for mana-nang-gal, a mythical creature in the philippines where it has the ability for its body to be separated in two..the upper torso flies and the lower part stays on the ground basically in the song "keeping their feet on the ground or staying humble and true to their roots"

Manananggal is a mythical creature in the Philippines that is able to separate its upper torso from the lower part of its body. As it flies away the lower part of the body remains on the ground. So no matter how far they go now (Sb19) they will always come back to where they belong and remain grounded just like manananggal. 💖

Their WYAT concert last year is superb as they did dance breaks for their songs off the Pagsibol ep ,in their more recent concert Pagtatag ,although they covered previous songs ,they didn’t do the dance breaks. Mana and Bazinga are my favourite dance routines with the dance breaks,definitely a must see

Yay! Finally! #ManaSupremacy! Most of the boys love this song in their EP because the footworks in their dance is just out of this world. In one of their interviews. his Ken said this is his fave song. But the fandom felt so “robbed” because in all of SB19 songs in this EP, this is the only song that did not get an mv, not even a lyric video. I know you guys don’t like ballads but SB19’s ballads are as good as they get. The harmonizations are supreme, the lyrics are beautiful! The voices soulful, heavenly! The messages behind the songs , real & relatable! Pablo is honestly a musical genius! We love these boys so much! 💙💙💙💙💙

The fact that almost everyone loves to sing, babies grow up listening to music and trying to sing to it. After all, listening and singing to music is free. Not everyone can sing, but they are not an outcast. They just get teased ( with love sometimes). Gatherings with alcohol makes everyone braver to sing in public. Do it a few more times and you can join in and not be shy.
