I think this was shot in Palawan & they also filmed their Showbreak 19 there. Looking back at their old episode of Showbreak 19 its really nice to see that they're still the same -- they make fun of each other, they can laugh at themselves, they talk about their hardships & dreams -- & yeah Felip/Ken back then was y'know simply dressed bec. he literally went to Manila with just the bare necessities, no rings, no branded items but from the old episodes one can see him show hints of his style, his swag, & his handsome face 😁

if you will get the chance to watch their concert you'll be amazed that you went there with no friends, but you will go home with lots of new friends and freebies from our beloved A'TIN. We call ourselves " KAPS" short for kapatid means brother/sister. I been a silent fan before then got the chance to watch their concerts and events then I met new friends and took home lots of freebies from co-A'TIN. We may have some toxic fans(who doesn't) but very few. Majority of them are very nice people and friendly.

Love the point you made about this particular video being simple. This song, although part of an album, is dedicated to their fan base A’tin. SLMT is literally “Salamat” without the A, which translates to Thank You. This does not need any bells and whistles to get their point across. I think that’s one of the things that sets SB19 apart is, they are relatable. Their music speaks to you in a way that you understand.   Also, not sure if you caught it, in the end they say “Mahalima”. It’s our term of endearment between the boys and A’tin. It means 1) Mahal ka ng lima (the five love you), and 2) Mahal naming lima (our beloved five) 🥰❤

Great that you were able to notice the quality of this MV. They actually did it just for fun. Would you believe this was during their Christmas vacation in El Nido, Palawan back in 2021? Yup, Christmas season with a summer feel. But don't be fooled. Elsewhere in the Philippines, it's cold around this time, especially in the mountains. I so love this MV as it gives good vibes and shows them having a real good time. They did the Showbreak Season 4 finale here as well.

Lemme translate my fave part of this song so you can relate how sweet Pablo wrote this, an evidence that this song was a heart-felt give-back of the boys to its fandom, A’Tin. 4:55 Wala’ng labing-syam ‘pag wala ang labing-walong kayamanan (No “19” without our “18” treasures) 🥰 ‘Yan ang dahilan ng matamis na karanasan (The reason of this sweet journey/experience) Kahit pa umulan ng kamalasan (Even if it’s raining misfortunes) Hindi ko namalayan kasi lagi kang nand’yan (I barely notice because you’re always there) And notice the title, it’s spelled “SLMT” from “SALAMAT” , meaning ‘thank you’. They took out the letter “A” because A stands for “A’Tin”. They are saying, their ‘thank you’ will mean nothing without the fandom. 😭 They say this in this part of the song -> 5:45, that’s why they are gesturing the letter “A” while pointing at the camera. Aren’t they the sweetest?! I don’t know any other group who takes time to compose a song for their fandom. They see to it that in their EPs, they have something dedicated to us. 🥰 Then Pablo’s genius way of composing the song without it sounding cringey. The song is just pure good vibes. Same feeling you get with “Freedom”.

I guess its because SB19 really likes to promote Filipino music and culture and it really shows on their video. They rather show the good surrounding and view rather than a green screen backdrop. You feel as if you wanted to go there too. I also feel that in the recent music video of Justin "SURREAL". Some of the location spots were taken here in the Phils and feels to go there one day.

The bridge part where they spelled SLMT, the next line of the lyrics was, "Nakuha mo ba, ikaw 'yung 'A'?" (did you get it, you're the A?) They're just simply saying that you can't spell SALAMAT (thank you) without the letter "A," and A'tin starts with the letter "A," Which they're referring to.

Just to add, they've shot this music video when they took a break. Just a pure vacation for them because they've been very busy. But as Justin said,( i think it was him) they weren't used to not do anything so they decided to do a music video for SLMT. It was a sudden decision. Wasn't planned at all.
