I've spent the past two weeks figuring this out by trial and error with a multimeter, a 9V battery and some resistors I found. Just mention Ohm's law in here to calculate voltage and current for each component or branch and this video is golden. And also a few details like how to calculate current in various circuit setups.

I was taught parallel circuit resitance total is calculated 1/ 1/r1 + 1/r2 + 1/r3 ... Or 1 divided by the sum of reciprocals of each resistor. Totally confused on series/parallel part. This way does Not work for missing values. It is better to make a chart and use ohms law and kirchoff to evaluate that. No mention of power calculation?

would the parallel circuit cause excess heat connecting 3 power lines directly to one source (as shown here) rather than having one source deliver power to one source which then delivers to another source and so on? (series) Working with car electronics and don't want any fires.

if current has divided in parrell connection its means charges divided then how it is possible it lightents the bulb equally

Im no electrical engineer but my guess is that each of these resistor has different amounts of resistence, hence some need more amps than others(thats of course if all the lights are the same wattage). If they all had the same resistance, then they they would all receive the same amount of voltage (120 volts) and amps (10amps / 3 = 3.33 amps). So power to each like is 12 x 3.33 = 39.96 watts per light, which will make them shine the same brightness. Please if i am wrong can someone correct me?
