Great pair! I have yet to ad one of these to my S&W collection. Hope to someday. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope things are well on your end! PS: Whoever you got this from packed these really well. Good for them.
Nice pistols for the age, I have a friend that had 2 of the Iver Johnson top break revolvers. His nickel one was actually in worse shape finish wise, but for the age these look quite good. Thanks for sharing!
The video does not show it well enough, but the blued one is almost brandnew ! I also have one iver johnson but it's a rough one, il en a vécu des choses haha
@@thefrenchgunsmith6488 I do have a nice collection but it is not as large as my channel may make it look. I am always buying, selling or trading so even though I have a nice collection much (but not all) of what is on my channel has been passed on to fund the next piece. It's a great hobby that costs me a lot of time but very little money because of the previous pieces fund future ones.
@@bigredgunnut this is EXACTLY what I do ! 50% of the guns on my channels are sold, and reinvested in other projects. I only keep the best one for my personnal collection (the spencer 1868 new model for example)
@@thefrenchgunsmith6488 It is such a good way to grow a collection. I love all of it, the hunt for the next one, the gunsmithing and tinkering with the odd one as well as growing my personal collection with the ones that appeal to me for whatever reason.
@@bigredgunnut exactly ! Finding guns with nit designs and interesting mecanisms is clearly the best part about it. For now I have not found better than the krag of the spencer !
