A new video of 3 different tools can be found here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AM6lpjKFtrw.html In this new video I now claim my gutter cleaning without a ladder can be faster than the traditional cleaning with a ladder.
My first video about cleaning gutters at zero cost is here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--meZaZRcnL8.html
It got so many views! Many viewers asked me to do a video for a very high gutter, i.e. the gutters on a second story house. That is why I made this video.
We present the cheapest way to clean your high gutters. We also provide suggestions on how to adapt to the tools you have on hand. We assume you don't have a water pressure washer, but if you do own one, this video is still applicable. If you don't have a GoPro camera, you can use a cell phone. If you don't have a hose, however, you might be out of luck! :)
25 ft hose: amzn.to/2XoivRN
50 ft hose+nozzle: amzn.to/2BRhjNI
12 feet pole: amzn.to/3qn5pmd
24 feet pole: amzn.to/3lxtKC7
Many people would suggest hiring professionals. In fact, if you have money, you can hire people to do everything. If you don't have unlimited money, then your priority should be based on the death rate, the death rate is as follows:
Heart disease: one in six
Cancer: one in seven
Car crash: one in 103
Fall: one in 114
For example, instead of hiring someone to clean the gutter, you should first use the money to join a gym, to move to less polluted areas, to reduce driving (order online) etc.
Index
0:00 500k people each year falling
0:42 two problems with high gutters
1:14 inspect gutter blockage
1:58 adjust the nozzle
2:33 tie hose
4:08 start from downspout first
Please subscribe to my channel. We will continue to publish many more videos, those videos that show you the best ways to solve your problem. You can't get these kind of videos anywhere else.
Please leave comments below if you have a special situation not covered in this video. We want to help prevent injuries caused by falling from ladders, which are an astonishing 500,000 each year! Here is the link: blogs.cdc.gov/niosh-science-blog/2017/03/13/ladder-safety-month/
Watch this video to install an app on your cell phone:
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CRT_vxjXlI4.html
If you want to attach your cell phone to many other places, you can check out this video:
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5o-ea5vdaa8.html
Of course, if you don't have a second phone, you can use a laptop in the place of the viewer phone. If you don't have a laptop, some smart TV allows you to connect your compatible mobile device to the TV. If you don't any of those, you still have the two options of what I had proposed in my first video:
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--meZaZRcnL8.html
A viewer asked this question: How did you remove the small branches from the gutter in the one clip you showed?
You may use a long telescopic extension pole, attach a coat hanger like this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--meZaZRcnL8.html . Although the probability is low to be successful for one trial, but if you try 20 times, one of the times you may pick them up. Another option is just leave them there for a long time, it will decompose, but psychologically you won't feel good about leaving them there.

Oh my goodness, you are a genius! Thank you for your video. I'm a new first time homeowner of a two story home. I'm approaching my second year and due to the amount of leaves in my back yard, I'm reminded of cleaning my gutters. As a single female, the safest option is to hire someone but it's also to most costly. Your brilliant mind has given me the means of doing it myself. I have been thinking about making or creating a tool of some sort to reach the gutters over patio but wouldn't solve solution of second floor gutters. Saw one of your older videos and someone posted a comment for twostory solutions and you responded with the link for this video. Once again, thanks for posting such great videos and thanks for responding to the people who comment on them.

Mr GA, Taping a cell phone or camera to the hose, in the right position seems tricky. I'd rather use a drone with a camera. I know that would be tricky too but more fun. It also justifies my purchase of buying one. LOL I hope you can make some genius videos that involves using drones ;-)
@GeniusAsian
@GeniusAsian 4 года назад
What you need is not a drone that can fly fast, but a helicopter that can stand still in the air because you can not move your water jet too fast, the water jet need to advance a little bit at a time. Also you need another person just to operate the drone. So since you need the camera to be not moving and you don't want to waste another person to operate it, then why not tie the camera to a pole...?

We don't know how many Chinese are treated from ladders, it's censored by Commies. Not very genius if you ask me. But good video and I gave you a thumbs up on your device.
@GeniusAsian

Yes, China not only censors but also has The best Great Firewall of China. However, you need to separate two groups of people. The first group are those in China believing everyone else in the world are brainwashed by the evil capitalists, because that was what they were told growing up. The second group of people are those who left China and live in US long ago, these people in the second group may not be in love with the gov. Still I thank you for your positive thumb up toward my video.

@GeniusAsian
@GeniusAsian 4 года назад
Yeah, you need to spend some time/effort to setup your operation on the ground. If you use ladder and fall, you will need to make an appointment with your doctor, visit the doctor, that will take more time. The government CDC says that there are 500,000 injuries each year, caused by falling from ladders. So if you don't spend more effort in the beginning, then you may have to spend the time/effort in the hospital, plus you may have to spend money on co-pay if you have medical insurance.

Thanks for the video, it's something many people may want to take advantage of. I'll just call a local cleaning company and have the covers set up on the gutters for future low to no maintenance. And you have a point about climbing, falling, hospital visits, etc. However this set up shown can also be dangerous and cause physical damages to oneself as well.

I'm building something like this at the moment with 3/4" pvc pipe for 20 feet- with the pipe being the transport of water as well however I realized it will not work with 3/4pvc as the pipe flexes far too much at 20' without water. Wood as used in this video would work as shown in video but the extension they made in this video is NOT 20feet (even though the calculation given is correct). Also, wooden paint roller extensions do not reach 20', metal may.

@Semper Fi there are an astonishing 500,000 people each year fell from ladders and are injured. Some may be scared, other may not had anchored the ladders correctly. Since there are two moving parts, the end of the ladder that touches the ground and the part that touches the gutter, and two feet, two hands, any of the four contact points could fail, thus there could be multiple reasons of an accident. Even if you can secure all four points, there is still non-zero probability of one of the 500,000 people who could not focus on this task. If all 500,000 follow my advice not using the ladder, they will not be injured from falling. If they only anchored properly, some of them still may fall.
