This is a style I do on my fourteen month old’s hair as a protective style that lasts about two weeks. It helps to retain moisture, prevent drying out her hair and is very easy to achieve. It is age appropriate and there is no tension on her hair. I purposely do these loosely however you can make them tighter at the root to achieve a sleeker and neater twist. It depends on the look you prefer. This two strand twist style is also helpful for parents who may have difficulty with children who are tender headed or who can only do their child’s hair when asleep and need a style they can do that will last longer.
