Kiwi and Pixel both love the mirror, so we have to limit their time as to not let them become obsessed with it. Today's video was shot on 3 cameras for multiple views.

My parakeet passed away 2 months ago and his name was Bosc, he looked just like Kiwi with bright and beautiful green feathers. I'm 25 and it's the first pet that I ever cried to after knowing we won't be standing in my hand ever again. I miss you so much Bosc. Please, love your pets like there's no tomorrow

If you decide to get another birb, and it's a budgie, you might want to pick those colors again. That's the natural, in-the-wild color, and all others are created by careful breeding. So, the "boring" colored birds are probably the healthiest ones.

I used to breed budgies & love them so much. They’re funny & smart. I really miss them. (I’m a senior & have one pet parrot, a Red-Fronted Macaw). Now that’s a 35 y/o piece of work!

I love how pixel chased kiwi off and pixel tried to steal the show. Then u took pixel away and put kiwi back. Then kiwi did his zipper sounds as you put your phone down. That was cute.

My budgie morty adores talking to your birds, he screeches at any other budgie on youtube 😁 unfortunately he's not hand-reared or hand tame but has become a great mimic of many sounds since he sadly lost his mate 6 months ago, your videos have brought us closer as the only time I can get close to him is when I've got my phone in my hand playing one of your videos and then he's quite happy to sit on my hand and tap the screen making funny noises as he does it 😁 So thankyou ❤

Awww.. just found your channel. Of all the parrots, budgies have the sweetest chatter IMO. That combination of the "electronic" voice interspersed with random whistles, trills and their repertoire of mad sound effects -- those smooching and zipper and ripping/DJ-needle-scratch sounds - are the sound of happiness. I could listen to this all day. You are very lucky to have these two in your life - thanks for sharing them withviewers. PS. have you mentioned anywhere how you came to choose their names? "kiwi"- is there an NZ connection?

Thank you! No NZ connection, we just liked the name. We only later found out Kiwi is a common bird name. With Pixel we just came up with it on our own.
