During the Georgetown Garden Walk on Sunday 14-JUL-13 we had an impromptu 37 to 37 link with the Living Computer Museum. The two Teletypes stayed connected for nearly 4 hours while approximately 59 visitors from 9 countries left messages and ASCII art. The 'chat log' is available for viewing at either museum (they differ slightly).
The call from the Museum of Communications was made using a 103 Dataphone, manual dialing through a Strowger Step by Step office with a trunk into a #5 Crossbar office. The dialed number is 232-0955 which has a Dataphone 300/1200 modem on it that supports 150 baud. At the end of the video there is an edited walk through of the switching equipment which shows 232-0955 being dialed a few times.
