As a CTMH customer, I think the light sides done by StampinUp are much better than some that CTMH did. Maybe making the blend pens has fine tuned the light color.
Enjoyed the review I am a former close to my heart demonstrator 2000 to 2007 and the one thing I really missed was the white in the middle because there’s so much you can do with it. A lot of people thought it was just a cheaper way to make the product, but it really isn’t. It’s nice, I hope you enjoy your time in Utah grandson lives in Utah. He loves it there and I will look forward to seeing your next video. I got a new computer so I’m hoping I can get Facebook on it.💕💕💕
congratulations in the 3 holy cow!! hope you are proud of yourself. you do a wonderful job teaching about all the things. you work hard and should be really proud of yourself hope you are better before you go get recognized
Patty I’m watching a replay and have a question about the difference (if there is any) in the weight of the SU 12x12 paper packs and the CTMH paper packs in the holiday catalog. Will SU office share with you and us the weights of both 12x12 papers? Thanks
Also a suggestion for the photo place holders and other photo mats. If you make the layout prior to knowing the photos you’re using , place your photo mats with repositional tape so you may change if you need to. Example - layout calls for landscape photo and once you choose your photos you want to use a portrait photo instead You can easily pick up your mats and turn them to portrait and tape them with permanent tape. Thanks for all your ideas and have a great healthy vacation
Great review! I enjoyed hearing your positivity and enthusiasm about the white core card stock. I will personally be stocking my craft room with both options because they each have their benefits.
I am watching replay on Friday afternoon. I absolutely love your enthusiasm about products and ideas. I have learned so much from this tutorial. Thank You very much.
I appreciate you showing us the new cardstocks, Patty! I was on the fence about them, but decided to get a small assortment to play with. I am pretty sure that I will have to have them all at some point! I remember SU having something like this when I first joined, in the 12x12 size, right? I think they were called "Core'dinations"?
Watching the replay. What a complete over view of these new items. I always liked CTMH products, they also had wonderful colors do you know if other then the white will will there be any other of their colors coming forward? I think the two tone papers will be a hit with most of us. Hope your trip is fun and you feel better quickly. Thanks for the great Video.
White Daisy was super thick, and we never had the option of a thinner version in that shade. So, there's something new for us (former CTMH makers) to try, too!
I love how humble and receptive Stampin' Up has been to learn from a closing company ... and even hire our wonderful Karen Pederson from the Art Department! We were the "Let me Show you How" company, and it is just beautiful to see the best of CTMH not being lost, but carrying on with SU!
As well as using the photo place holders for matting photos or in place of photos, I also use them if I need to cut or stamp things that fit. After being with CTMH for 11 years I accumulated hundreds of them so wanted to use them up.
Thank you so much for sharing the two-tone cardstock today! I loved all the tips and ideas! You have a way of increasing my motivation to create and share. I did buy several of the workshop kits with the two-tone paper, so I play with it when it arrives!
Thank you Patty once again you have made these new products look amazing and added new techniques as well. Love the sanding . I hope SU brings back the sandpaper blocks . Thank you for all your ideas.
Very interesting and informative reveal of the items in the new scrapbooking on-line publication. I was totally NOT interested but now see so many possibilities. Wonder if you have tried cutting the 2 toned paper with SU dies that also emboss. Congrats on your $3 million milestone and getting to visit Utah. Well deserved as you are quite an asset to SU and one of the few on-line demos that I have consistently watched and learned from in my eighteen years as a hobby demo. You are special❣️🙏🏻
So kind of you, thank you!! Since I had only rec'd this paper 24 hours before the video, I had not tried it with the hybrid embossing folders but I will definitely do that! thanks!
Thank you for your comprehensive product review video. All these videos are so helpful.I love the idea and your sample for using the two toned cardstock as card bases. I've been using most DSP types to make pretty card bases for many years now. As you suggested, I just ensure to have layers both inside and out to add stability. Patty, congratulations on your new Stampin Up achievement, and have a an awesome time in Utah next week.
From New Zealand, watching a replay. Your explanations are great, thorough and making me want to get into stampin up products even more. You are a great teacher so it's not surprising you have achieved such an amazing milestone. I hope you feel better soon 💕 🌷
Photopolymer stamps are best when seasoned before using. There are lots of methods, but I prefer the white art eraser dragged across the photopolymer, then stamp/clean, stamp/clean, then use.
