Always so happy to see that there are still people out there that are actually trying to move forward and make good music. Andre, please come play in Hawaii!!
Wow, how have I missed such scintillating fusion jazz? That is some of the best fusion I’ve heard in a while. Andre, what an exciting trio - brilhante!
Andre might be the most underrated guitarist and happens to be one of my top five favorites. What a master player with a powerful unique Brazilian flavor and I love his use, which is so musically natural, of the Lydian flat 7 scale. He uses t like a blues player uses the blues scale he is simply fantastic.
I agree. Criminally underrated. The first video I watched of his I immediately thought "there's no way that's real" and immediately started watching everything I could find on Andre and it turned out that he was even better than I imagined.
Awesome guys..just came across this and absaloutely love it.You all have exceptional skills but in paticular i relate to Andre.I love the way you tuck your pick away and let fly with your fingers..classical/flamenco influence??keep on making great music..I'll be listening to you guys until covid19 disappears...✌✌👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
TIGHT...great band...damn...beautiful blend of genres...they dont go too deep into any one which gets boring...keep the spirit alive...seriously great band here!
Mmmm.. Well I would like a bit more harmonical"technic and smoother/ more alien like guitar sound but very interesting. Brazil still provides such good metal guitarists and prog metal/Fusion music.. Thank you Brazilian people ;)
Same thing i thought, the distortion felt a bit much at times....id preferred more variety in his tones.......just my opinion atleast....great fucking song though
2:13 - I don't know my theory well, but this sounds like Lydian Dominant here, or maybe Mixolydian b5. Either way, there's some lovely shifts and movements going on in this piece.
Now, it's live, ok, EXCEPT (maybe) for a nylon stringed guitar that plays throughout the song and 1) it's overdubbed on post-production or 2) the camera didn't shoot him/her. I think it's number 1).
Awesome, now there is a man totally in touch with his guitar. All that melodic fast playing with just his fingers. Not a pick in sight. All really good musicians though. I enjoyed that immensely .
