Absolutely enjoyed every minute of this. How refreshing to see two enthusiasts share their knowledge and experience for everyone to benefit from I hope the demand is high for this to continue I for one will be glued to the following episodes. Please keep it up 👍🏻👍🏻. Well done lads. Great job.
Enjoyable guys. Look forward to some great topics in the future. I’ve done some subtle upgrades to my db9 (apple car play from Aston Installations, cameras etc) and have a few more planned (bamford rose type fun) but I want the largely stock look so this channel is right up my street.
On the list of possible guests (riffing on the direction that Steve was going)... Both James Walker (Mr JWW) and Tim Burton (Shmee 150) are well know RU-vid Aston owners. And their Astons are long term vehicles for them. The President of AM was mentioned, but Marek Reichman (I probably spelled that wrong), Ian Callum and Lawrence Stroll would all be long term goals.
One other RU-vid I thought of on the US side is Freddy Hernandez (Tavarish). He's had several Astons and now at least has a DBS (though there might still be a Vanquish lurking about his shop, I forget)
I agree with Josh. When I modify a car, I like it to look like it may have come from the factory like that. I'm not 100% thrilled with the current state of my Android Auto install L, for instance, but I'd like to make it look more OEM (or OEM+)
@@LiqdPT my front cam gave up the ghost last week, must be something in the air. The car play though, I must admit, is very good. Fisher Performance fitted and maintain mine. In Worcestershire.
@@duncanelliott7850 I installed mine. It all works fine at this point, my only issue is with the control pad. The plastic just doesn't feel very Aston-like and the suggested position in the ashtray is awkward. At this point I've put an aluminum knob on it and it's mounted in the little cubby ahead of the ashtray (I have sportshift) so it's a little better. I started looking into whether I could substitute in a Vanquish control joystick and mount it in the center cubby. Other stuff has come up that needs my attention, but I should get back to that this summer.
@@LiqdPT so I have DB9 and Aston Installations provided a new 3d printed ash tray so my control knob is hidden when ash tray closed….works very smart. It seems fine for me I must admit.
