I had country house living for ~25 years, downtown condo living for 3 years, city suburb house living for 8 years, city condo living for 5 years and suburb house/paired home living for the past 6 years. I can't wait to get back into a condo. The pita of house living will shorten your life by 20 years I swear! No thanks!! 😅 Give me the condo on the beach like I stayed in in Jomtien in February til I die! I cannot see the appeal of owning or even renting a house anymore. SO much trouble. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😬 I am SO glad there are so many amazing condo options in Thailand. I already have condo rentals picked out in Jomtien, Central Pattaya, Bangkok, and Patong! I can't wait!! Elysium also looks like it could make the list if it offers long term (6-12 month) stays as well. 😃👍🏼 I definitely love the small, minimalist suites that most of those buildings offer for rent. Bring on the pool, the view, the gym, the gardens, the games room, the beach and everything in the neighbourhood and all the quick access to the rest of the kingdom! 🙏🏼🇹🇭😍And all maintained by SOMEONE else! 😄👍🏼😍🥰😍 Am I crazy for preferring that? 😅😉🤔

I also do make it a priority that the bedroom style is a wall and door 1 bedroom for extra buffer from the hall noise, not a studio style. 👍🏼 The condo's I've stayed in in Thailand have been almost completely quiet so far. 😍 Especially compared to this western style wood and paper built North American house I'm in now. Zero concrete and steel. 🙄🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😡 I guess it depends on build for condos in Thailand too, but so far so good. 👍🏼😊
I'd have a hard time picking between country and condo living. I like the space in the country (and that lamb looked amazing!) but there is so much convenience to condo living. Even here in the US, I hate living in this house...i'd MUCH rather be in a condo - at least here in Indiana. Hope you have a great week ahead!
I’ve left the ignition on a couple times with the light on and came back to a dead battery…now I keep one of those small jump boxes in the bike, works great……the house would be the choice for my wife (Thai) but the condo would be mine( if I could afford it 🤪) great video Loucous!

You know how you make your batteries last in Thailand? Fill them often. They sell the water even at Big C in the auto dept...They always tell you batteries not serviceable in Thailand but even that wave battery ...see the line around a section on top? Pop a screwdriver in there & pop it off...refill to bottom of neckline inside. Same with Car & Truck batteries. Once I started that then all of them lasted years longer. Just so hot there all the liquid disappears leaving what made it acid on the plates...add (distilled) water & they come right back...better yet add before they get dry 😉

It seems to be motorcycle battery replacement season. I'm going to look for a new one for my Honda CRF 250L tomorrow. It's still turning the motor over but only just.

Lucas, why didn't you just jump onto the Kwaka or the CRF? I get at least 5 years out of my sealed batteries here in Aus where we have regular days of 40c plus during summer! Leaving your ignition on over night can be solved in the morning by simply breaking out a jump start pack and in your case having so many bikes would be a necessary tool to have in stock! Believe it or not a full discharge does a battery good!
The batteries in Thailand are cheap Thai batteries. If you get one where you 2 years for 300 baht, you know what you're getting. If you buy a premium sealed battery from a brand name, are you sure it isn't a knockoff that will die in six months? (Also, a premium battery might cost 10 times as much). A good rule of thumb in Thailand is to just adjust to the Thai way. It's usually the path of least resistance and everyone will know how to help you.
Tattoo's are a vanity thing I guess. I thought they were "cool" decades ago when it was mostly military or bikers. They became un-cool when every limp wrist starbucks barista started sporting them. For most of these people I would suggest skipping the ink and hit the gym, a fit body is much more impressive.

Batteries in Thailand. My new truck's battery only lasted 18 months. One interesting thing, the dealership will pay you for the old battery. Five hundred baht I think it was. Better than having to pay a disposal fee like in the states.
I do wish you would stop showing us all these top end properties, it's embarrassing as I like to leave things lying about and can't clear up immediately after me
