We started our journey on Wednesday in Cesis. Than we had to load up log materials for log building. After that we drove to port in Riga. After having a good time on the TALLINK ferry, we had to drive to Trysil.

I'm really into farming, but videos like yours really make me want to be a trucker. I hope your dad is ok where ever he may be and i hope you keep up the excellent videos.
@15Woodsmen Yeah, most European trucks have slightly convex main mirrors, I'm pretty sure that all Scania models have them... but I think Mercedes trucks have flat mirrors... most trucks also have a blind spot mirror on each side.
well i really want to grow up be 21 i think years old and get a c and e category license and become a truck driver for a weird reaon i love trucks a lot
@CRYMY18 Tell me what he should have done if there came a car toward them in high speed and the other truck needed to brake and pull over to the right side? He would either be slammed right into the first truck, drove into the ditch to the left, or ram camper off the road. I don't know how you learn the drive safe in Rumainia but in Sweden you don't take things for granted and we don't overtake right behind some one else when we can't see past it.
@CRYMY18 I understand exactly how you think. The truck in front overtakes so I can too. But what I am saying is that if there is someone from the opposite direction at high speed. And the truck in front brakes hard, the driver in the video would not have time to respond. Therefore, either smack right into the truck or ram camper off the road. I know what you think but you have to always think about what could happen. Rather lose a few minutes driving, than anyone else loses their life.
@Falc0n6 It's under 10 real reststops in Norway, and almost all of them are in the southern part of Norway. Oslo - Trondheim got some resting areas, but if you driving longer north to Bodø and Tromsø, you will se that theres not a single real reststop, just gas stations. This problem has been on the news for a couple of days here in Norway.
@linispower Yes when you did pull out, but if some one woud have driven a bit fast and coming over the hill u woud not have seen him untill the other truck turned in. It's just called comon sense. If you don't see you don't overtake. you shoud have waited for the other truck to pass the cars then you could do it. And i'm not calling truckers lazy, slow and clumsy.. Becouse i'm also a truck driver and i woud not do an overtake like that. You do not know if some one comes to fast.
omfg like that's a good reason to overtake... What happens when the truck infront realise he need to emergencybrake becouse some one are coming in the other direction????
How do you guys drive with one big convex mirror? Whats wrong with a rectangle flat glass and round convex (spot mirror) oh yea, thats old and this is Europe. I guess you guys think its outdated.
@FatasMe I now know why i thinck it's wrong doing what he does in the video. I drive a Swedish truck with a truck and a dolly and a trailer. That means 24 meters and 60 tons. A little bit harder to pull over some one with the control of a european standard.
@tobbzor When colleagues start to overtaking, the lodge on gas for it .. If you can safely return to the track in the direction of movement .. And yes, when you go for it - GAS!! ;)

@tobbzor This is European driving my friend. You are unfamiliar with it, so I suggest you stay out of it. Notice how the campers have SPACE in between them? Even if the car was coming, truck had place to pull in. This is not America buddy, where they want to make you suffer on purpose.
Entirely agree... Those guys come to countries where real driving licenses exist and where we have ideas of safety they don't. The overtaking at 4:37 is just insane he has no view of whats coming in the opposite direction with his "colleague" overtaking in front of him. Typical example of money driving the system, crappy drivers paid to Eastern Europe standards coming with no respect of our families driving, roads, all for the sake of cheap transport.
@tobbzor first of all there is another truck in front and a car so u see when the truck is not getting to his lane coz the road is clear in front that why he continue the overtake and at start when he start the overtake u can se more then 300m that the road is clear.I'm a profesional driver too so i know what i'm tolking about i know why he did that and how he know the road was clear trust me to driver a truck is not a joke.
i am a lawyer, i earn about 2-3 k every month. But i regret two things: 1- being a pilot of a military aircraft and second being a truck driver. even if i drive a small luxury sedan i always flash with truck drivers and i respect the truck because it never forgive you. the truck drivers have a big responsability and you must respect them. never drive too slow in front of them, think that they need to deliver the cargo and fuck off to another place. iwish to be a truck driver and drive a MAN TGX
I have never said i've seen a car. I said if a car woud come from the other direction i high speed. and the truck infront of him need to emergency brake to get inte betwine the campers. linispower would have no where to go.
Yeah, and your colleague before you and the hilly road? And the time you spend on the left lane to overtake the campers ? And what about motocyclists ? It wasn't a motorway in case you didn't notice... The way you insert behind the camper talks for itself, no security distance, emergency brake cause you arrived full gas behind him, for what ? Just think about innocent people with their families in those vans and everywhere else! Maybe this is Estonian driving but rules and safety exist
