I mean, when I initially listened to the EP I felt like the themes of it kinda ended on an incomplete note, they set up too much lore for it to end like this, and now with this video I’m even more convinced that the next album (which was supposed to still come this year, we’ll see) will be a direct follow up

I really like how when the videos have a story like this, "Starlight Brigade" and "Synthesize Her", TWRP themselves aren't the central characters. These guys make the most uplifting music I listen to, so of course their characters are out to help others in need, not flaunt their egos. That said, there better be a sequel to this! Fight on, Groove Crusaders!

Have you listened to the Friends of the Blues EP and the Digital Nightmare album? Both of the whole things are cynical and full of dark social commentary, they're amazing.

I really REALLY love how the brainwashing effects were represented through analog imagery like scanlines and generation loss. I'm half tempted to try recreating those effects by how juicy they were, it's such sick execution of a vision i haven't really seen done before!! _also,_ this is such a freaking twrp music video lmao, all of the goofy easter eggs. (also dylan cameo!!! let's go!)

I was surprised that they used disks to remove and restore the memories. Possibly a reference to the Crescendolls since TWRP is heavily inspired by the Interstella 5555.
