Leonard Callahan Sacrificed his wife which caused the Wendigo's power to surge into real life from the underworld where it took life of any nearby humans, due to Katherine being dead- the power glided through Leonard and over a few days or even hours, he transformed into the wendigo: first his limbs got longer and hairier and then his chest begun expanding and his flesh and skin ripped apart leaving his rib cage exposed and being a monster. Every time Leonard is killed by wandering travelers or hunters ( the players ) he resurrects as the underworld ruler brings life back to him, forcing him to live as the monster over and over again as a sign of punishment for what he had done to his family as a human. Over this period, Callahan went insane and became a psychopath leading himself to like killing the tribal workers and travelers to feast on.
*MY ISSUES WITH THIS VIDEO ARE AS FOLLOWS:* -Zachariah's Navy revolver is nowhere to be seen on him (Uselessbronzekid once again forgetting to portray somebody's iconic weapon of choice) -Leonard Callahan is not wearing his signature hat (Did you even _try_ to find somebody who owned it???) -Ge-rah-lads is the original translation of ancient tongue, Gerald is a modern mis-translation, according to the lore -Big Jimmy is not confirmed to be an outlaw, he is only known for obtaining immortality in both body and name through the Gerald-fish. He does gaurd the Black Market which is described as "legally questionable", as players trade and purchase illicit goods there. He likely made a business deal with the Auctioneer. His main enemies could be (and this is just speculation) the Pinkerton detective agency, as once again, he is guarding a very likely illegal underground operation. -Leonard nor Delores could possibly be the mysterious traveler. I have likened him to TWW's version of The Strange Man even, but this is unlikely itself. Sneaky Shane is a slim possibility. -Just a nitpick, but the police scene is kinda cheap and is too modern-themed & exaggerated. It would of been the Bronze City Sheriff and a deputy asking Callahan calmly to step outside, as he is a wealthy and well-known individual and plantation-owner who likely has a lot of influence, power and respect. He would have not been found out or convicted on the spot, as there is nobody to have known what he done. It is very likely authorities would of even showed up at all, and if they did, they'd find the Manor abandoned and Delores an orphan. Leonard would have gotten away, now the Wendigo, and would be later on hunted down by men on the frontier out for a reward (not as a criminal bounty, but a reward for putting down a dangerous beast that was destroying the livestock and is keeping everyone indoors) The Manor would have since been abandoned and Delores would inherit it but not do anything with it for years, seeing as it's all boarded up. Even if Callahan was arrested and charged for his crimes, he could plead insanity, and with his riches and influence, his lawyers could quite possibly get him off easy back in those times.
