Huening Kai sounds just like the studio recording, Taehyun’s grit is amazing live, Beomgyu manages a breathy tone even while dancing, Soobin nails the higher note on the bridge, and Yeonjun demands the audience’s attention as always. Brilliant performance by these talented boys.

One thing I like about TXT is that they know how to express pain and emotion. I’m not just talking about aggressive facial expressions. That’s part of it. But it’s deeper than that. They embody whatever lyrics and feeling the song has. They’re dancing, yes, but they also step into the acting role. And it makes the performance that much better. For example, the way that Hueningkai puts that feeling and passion into that one movement at 2:44 just hits hard. You can feel the pain. It can even be a happy, lighthearted song, and they can still embody that role. TXT are not to be slept on. They’re getting more recognition, and I’m glad that’s the case because they deserve it.

FCC guidelines for programming (on non-cable channels) from 6am-10pm can be a bit strict (more than I realized). The whole idea is that children can be watching during that time, so certain restrictions are in place. I think that's why "use me" was changed to "take me..." In English to "take a drug" implies that one is taking *medication*, but to "use a drug" implies addiction, usually to drugs that are not legal. We don't say "use a drug" when we talk about things like prescription meds. I think that's why they changed it for this broadcast. There'd be no problem if this were shown on late night tv. But these guidelines still feel a bit shocking, considering that the line was allowed on Korean broadcasting stations, don't they. 😳

@@QueenCornana I don't get it because I feel like half of Americans are either "angels" and would never ever use any kind of word that could potentially be seen as bad or people that are very uncreative when it comes cussing, generally overuse the word fuck and don't give a damn if children are around. (same goes for nudity by the way.) In British media for example cussing is allowed but people don't try to use it excessively. You have a healthy balance between using fuck as connective word and church talk. They aren't randomly placed but if there is something to express they use the language needed. Thus it isn't daily vocabulary/ the word holds meaning. Back to America, you either have children who have never heard "bad words" before and in my PERSONAL OPINION lack expression and general understanding that not everything is sunshine and rainbows / toxic positivity or you have ones think it's a completely normal word. A child should be able to figure out if a word is good or bad and this song isn't pure sinn, it uses language to intentionally expresses pain somewhat of a toxic dependance. A child might not understand the second, but definitely the first one, which makes the general theme of the song negativ. PS: Jup, I definitely wrote to many essays in the last few years... and I grew up in a German speaking country, so I don't actually know anything about the UK or US.
