It is. The pose with them holding a hand and seemingly taking off a mask is a BTS move too. It SERIOUSLY makes me think that the BTU and TXTU are indeed connected.

this mv is actually hella dark and creepy, I think the strawberries and the tomatoes symbolize blood and when beomgyu covered taehyun and the red light came on I think it means he killed him.
Nah guys theres definitely some killing here. I think what happened is that all of them went into Soobin's house very happily and it seems Yeonjun started a fire in the oven and Taehyun noticed that. Then all of them kinda had their own moments where they were left out of the group. I think Beomgyu might be Yeonjun's supporter in this and tried to kill Taehyun with the blanket. And started throwing stuff at taehyun. Soobin seemed to be targetted by Yeonjun and was the one who was the most disappointed it seems, since they came into his house and ruined it all. Huening Kai seemed to notice all of this but didnt want to do anything, he wanted all of them to be friends again but apparently nobody could understand him so he just was out of it. I think in the end, Yeonjun killed them all with maybe Beomgyu as a survivor.
My Theory: Soobin is held hostage by "the cat" that's why no one can see him in this video, they think he is dead (they literally break into the house if you look closely). Taehyun is the only one who knows sth isn't right and can feel Soobin, he's also trying to figure out who is "guilty" between them. Yeonjun thinks he *IS* guilty bc he keeps setting things on fire without knowing (unconsciously). (Soobin is also suspected of Yeonjun bc of the bobble gum scene and him asking "who's the liar") Beomgyu on the other hand *IS* the real guilty one bc "the cat" is constantly possessing him and using him to destroy the others (like when he tried to suffocate Taehyun bc he was starting to suspect him). The only one I'm not sure of his role is Kai. He seems like "the innocent one" but him being the only one who's cautious in the bedroom scene makes me suspicious.
The Unique Fangirl aaaaaahhhhhh thank u! I don’t really follow TXT’s storyline but this MV had me intrigued. I wondered why it looked like Beomgyu killed or was trying to kill Taehyun. I think you are totally right about Kai being innocent and in the MV it looks like he’s trying to keep it that way by purposely not noticing things (ignorance is bliss).
I feel like kai knows what up that why he is more distant with the others. He is seen sitting down eating strawberries avoiding the food fight. He may be the one that’ll be taken next. Yeonjun accidentally is setting things on fire and he feels guilty. He may be the one that’s possessed because he realises what he is causing but beomgyu isn’t exactly realising so I’d assume that he is maybe the cat.
Taehyun knows what’s happening and that’s why beomgyu is trying to kill him. If u notice beomgyu was the one who flipped some sauce/strawberry jam on him and right before that beomgyu was choking taehyun tf out. So maybe beomgyu the cat has realised that taehyun knows that soobin is trapped and beomgyu is possessing yeonjun into killing his friends. Kai seems to be catching on that there’s shit going on hence why he is distancing himself
I think taehyun knows something/is guilty bc in the Choreo taehyun and soobin are the only ones who crosses their fingers behind their back while the others just have their pinkies
This song is so sad cause it’s literally talking about friends not seeing each other pain and slowly but surly "killing" each other while all of them are screaming for help- literally "can’t you see me?" = ”im struggling, help me" but no one’s seeing it, hearing it.. " friends don’t understand me anymore" - so sad :(
THE DREAM CHAPTER: STAR In "CROWN" antlers start to grow from a boy's (Yeonjun's) head representing the pain of growing, and people start treating him differently than before. In "Nap of a Star" Yeonjun's character is scared of his own antlers and tries to get rid or them. He then meets Huening Kai (boy with wings) Taehyun (boy with a star eye) Soobin (elf ears) and Beomgyu (spines on his shoulder) they understand his pain, accept him, and become his friends. THE DREAM CHAPTER: MAGIC In TXT's MMA 2019 performance (projection on curtain scene) Yeonjun still feels fearful and alone but the members are always there for him and comfort him. Now, "Run Away" shows the adventures they had together, and the bond they share as friends. They think their friendship will last forever and will always remain the same. They go to "Magic Island" which represents peace, trust, and freedom. They suddenly come to the realization that their friendship isn't what they thought it was, and Magic Island burns down. (The MMA 2019 performance has a lot of storyline in it.) THE DREAM CHAPTER: ETERNITY ETERNITY shows the conflicts they start having. In "Can't You See Me?" they realize they didn't really understand each other as well as they thought they did, and this time they all become scared. This fear turns into anger, and I think Beomgyu tries to kill Taehyun? (The scene with the blanket. And Beomgyu keeps throwing the red strawberries and tomatoes at him specifically, and laughs) (also, I've heard K-Pop MVs can't be aired if they show blood, so groups will use paint instead like in BTS - Blood Sweat & Tears or DAY6 - Shoot Me. In the "Can't You See Me?" MV the strawberries and tomatoes sometimes represent blood, as well as the red lighting) Until they release another MV or until their next performance, this what I have theorized about ETERNITY. There is also a giant cat that shows up in "Nap of a Star" and "The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY Concept Trailer" that seems to be after Yeonjun? I'm still unsure of it though. I may be wrong about this storyline, MOA have interpreted it in many ways. This is just my own theory. Let me know what you think!
I'm just gonna point out some stuff cuz I'm lazy to make a theory 1. The house started on fire because they left the oven on from the beginning and it became bigger and bigger 2. Soobin and taehyun looked like they hate each other or got into a fight 3. Beomgyu looked like he was bothering taehyun in most of the MV like putting him under the blanket and throwing the food ar him first 4. At 2:28 Soobin and taehyun crossed their fingers behind their back which means a "liar" and the rest lifted their pinky meaning "promise" Idk if I only noticed this but hopefully it helps someone
That "bloody" part with them on fire when Yeonjun is looking at the rest is VERY UNSETTLING! I got chills first time watching. This MV is really creepy...

TXT has such a good production, amazes me every comeback, this song surprised me so much in a good way. I lovee this track, i don't remember the last time i loved a song this much. Absolute banger.
The story is that their struggles with growing up are hurting them and they expect each other to see their hurt but they dont. On the outside they’re all messing around and playing but on the inside they’re all hurting, in the end the fight becomes more real than it was at first.
this video was creepy like hell and Im definitely gonna look into the storyline if I get the time (also, that’s one of my favorite tobi lou songs at the end)

i saw it! i just didn't comment because it looked like an accessory rather than fully wearing a skirt- like a detachable skirt/apron that i've seen before. definitely did match his punk aesthetic that that last outfit was focused on, i was more interested in that top accessory, looked like spikes/chain on the shoulders.

this comeback was soo good but honestly every single one of theirs have been amazing so far. i didnt expect this album to have this sort of vibe but i love it sm. it seems like theyre portraying the darker sides of youth and friendships & it's so cool how they made this mv creepy but with normal/innocent things (like the strawberries, food fights, pillow fights, etc). cant wait to hear your thoughts on the album! also poppin star was my favorite song too from the full length album omg
It's funny how I listen to their music quite often and know all the names but I never really watched more their stuff neither I know who is who haha. It's probably because I can't keep up with a lot of the groups so I just don't even try.. . Anyway...still love a lot of their music. Also gotta say that not many people can pull of yellow hair but this guy...to be honest...it's perfect for him. He looks REEEEALLY good with yellow hair. I love this song.
