I do agree the song really match the vibe of both groups so well. As for Blue Hour, the korean title for this song is "You & I found in the sky at 5:53". Funfact : 1) when Bighit announced the fandom name "MOA" on 22 Aug 2019, the sunrise in Seoul was at 5:53am 2) when the song was released on 26 October 2020, the blue hour in Seoul started at 5:53pm 3) before the comeback for this album was announced officially, the members keep posting pics of sky at 5:53 pm daily

First of all, I really love your reactions and take care of yourself. Like you said, TXT and Jonas Brothers matched each other vibes so well and made a song that immediately makes you happy. So glad we got this masterpiece of Collab. Also, both of the groups did meet with each other when they decided to make this collab happen. They made some fun tiktoks and videos together. But unfortunately TXT had to fly back to korea for their ongoing tour and thus they shoot the mv separately. But so happy we got an mv with both the groups shining equally. They literally gave us Everything ♡ Collab of the year for sure ♡

Omg after your community post I was not expecting this reaction so soon - please make sure you get plenty of rest and take care of yourself ♡ I’m always amazed how much you’re able to understand TXT’s lyrics and MVs without the entire context of their storyline concept. I’m not sure how much you know about TXT’s discography but every album is a ‘chapter’ of an ongoing narrative, which is why I think you’re able to draw so many connections through their music and MVs. You’re definitely correct about the MV of Blue Hour (especially the ending) representing the need to let go of the imaginary, as Blue Hour was the title track of their album ‘Minisode 1: Blue Hour’ which was released as a transition between TXT’s first series of albums ‘The Dream Chapters’ and ‘The Chaos Chapters.’ The dream chapters tell the story of five boys transitioning from boyhood to adulthood while the chaos chapters continue the story of these same boys who, upon becoming older, face a world where their dreams have been crushed by the realities of life. The final album of the dream chapter series, ‘The Dream Chapter: Eternity’ (referenced in one of the lyrics you pointed out: “the day we danced as if it were for eternity”) shows how the boys are slowly discovering that the dreamlike reality established in the first two dream chapters (Star and Magic) might just be an illusion; I think Blue Hour acting as a transition between chapters is meant to emphasise this point in order to set up the next chapter, especially at the end when Beomgyu steps on the book, representing that the chapter that he just finished was all just a lie. I think this becomes especially clear in the Japanese version of the Blue Hour video which is set in a broken down carnival, and there is a real horse instead of the carousal. I think now that you’ve heard all of TXT’s title tracks, I would absolutely LOVE to see you go back and listen to their albums in order because, like I said above, you’re commentary without the context of the previous chapters is very insightful, so I’d be so interested in seeing what your thoughts are when you can connect each track to the narrative they build up through each album (plus I think listening to TXT’s b-sides is a must!). As for ‘Do It Like That’ it’s songs like this that make me hate living in the Southern hemisphere because it’s such a summer song, and I’m stuck here in the middle of winter. But despite this I’ve still been playing it a whole lot because the synergy between both groups is amazing! Honestly this comment was a mess so I hope it is someone coherent and helpful, but like I said above please take your time and take care of yourself.

I love your reactions. You’re absolutely right, Blue Hour and Sugar Rush Ride are connected- in BH they are youths still enticed by the illusion of a carefree childhood, but in SRR the temptation is toxic and overwhelming so they choose to leave fantasy and face reality

Agreed on the song fitting both. So often a collab will match one group more, or seem like one group has been slotted into the others track, but this seriously matches both groups so well it's ridiculous. Old school JoBros meets Dream Chapter era TXT. And noone overpowered anyone else. Clips and videos seem to indicate they met up during recording of the song but they had to film the MV separately. It's a shame they couldn't film it together, but amidst tours and other commitments I imagine schedules would've just never worked. I've seen a few tiktok challenges already. They filmed a few promo tiktoks together and JoBros did technically upload a dance challenge video of sorts with their heads edited on to TXTs bodies. 😂 I honestly thought it was a fan edit at first. Yeonjun did the dance challenge with Jun from Seventeen so hoping that means others will appear too (maybe they have already and I just didn't see them yet).

Both groups were actually filmed in the same place, the video itself just had specific editting and stuff. TXT did in fact go to LA while making this. They have behind the scenes tik toks where they're in the same room lol

I recommend 20cm by TXT! It kind of falls in line with these two songs vocal style wise.
