"Friends don't understand anymore"As u said, yes that's really a true words. I got to know TXT just like few weeks before this song came out. When this song came out, it hit so hard. It's like all my feelings and thoughts got validated with that 1 song
After this reaction, I went back and listened to it again and really diving into the lyrics and when I tell you that I legitimately teared up because I never had a song completely describe my feelings regarding how I look at many of my friendships now. It has hit me to my core and you’re right. Validated is the true definition of how this song made me feel. Almost like, “so it’s not just me…” 🥲

These are kinda dark songs but it's all storyline. Basically, friends growing up and making a promise to always be together but the world is rough and conspires to make it hard to keep that promise. But love your reactions. I did the same thing, liked them and sorta followed them but once I started to dig in and learn more about them I fell hard.
Although the nature is dark, there are a lot of truth elements in the lyrics. Because the line “Friends don’t understand me anymore” has stuck with me like a magnet. I’ve felt like this a lot in the last few years and never felt a way to describe it in such simple words. Yup you’re right, Can’t You See Me during concerts is hard!!! Their stages are always lit, but the CYSM stage is especially dark and the pyros are cool. Btw, they performed Good Boy Gone Bad at the Lollapalooza. They are so good!
Oh my! I can’t wait until I can see them in person now. I have yet to see any K-pop concert but they are on my list of “as soon as they are close enough, NO EXCUSES, I’m going” LOL
i became a moa with ‘can’t you see me’ so i completely understand you, that song and that whole album (the dream chapter: eternity) will forever be so special to me. still now, over four years later, red taehyun, purple soobin and yellow yeonjun are some of my favorite txt looks, in general the styling for this era was incredible imo. hope you enjoy the tubatu rabbit hole!
Okay so long post ahead lol... This song has left a sincere imprint on me! I played it so much that I sent the link to my best friend of 17 years. She's not big on K-pop but she gives all music a true listen, especially when I recommend it. She had no words... because she's felt the same these last few years and I think that song gave her just what she needed like it did me. Me and her are still close but gaps undoubtedly made an impact and it stinks at times because we know each other best but live so far apart. But side note.... I just watched Back for More.... and my jaw dropped... reaction coming soon.

It really warms my heart when people say, TXT makes their day better or how much they love txt. They have been through a lot since the beginning and many continue to look down on them, discredit them, hate them or accuse them of things that they didn't even get and are not getting till date. There's a special connection with them that I couldn't find with anyone. There's this very oftenly said thing in moaville that TXT comes to you or finds you when you need them the most and that is so true for me too! My moa heart wants them to be known everywhere, I know it won't be right to say that they are underrated but yk THEY DESERVE MUCH MORE THAN THIS, even tho slowly we'll reach there! There are very few who love them genuinely and I've seen how you enjoy them so please do continue loving and supporting txt, thank you so much! ❤
Believe me I will continue to do so. At first Yeonjun was the one who originally caught my attention because of his flawless execution of dance challenges then I started to notice Soobin because of The Killa 😅. When I saw Beomgyu on Jaefriends I couldn’t get over the similarities I seen between him and Jaejoong (mean that in the BEST way). Then I watched the guide and fell for them. Can’t You See Me? Was the song that did it. I realized how deeper than the surface they were. And Taehyun’s arms are powerful, I mean that in the way he moves and accentuates them throughout his dancing. Huening Kai is just adorable and I love his bond with all the others. I’m here for the long run. I will keep watching and reacting so rest assured 😁. BTW GGUM has me in a chokehold. I wasn’t ready for Cherry Red Yeonjun 😱. Rooting for them always now.
I totally agree with you about TXT. I discovered them years ago and soon realized how special of a group they are. They are different from all the other K-Pop groups out there in their vocals, choreo, and musicality. Instead of just hard hitting standard hip hop choreo, their choreo matches the feel of the song and always has a unique TXT flair. I'm a 46 year old guy and never in my life have I been so much into a group. I flew to LA (from Canada) to see both their shows in May and they were totally amazing. I was barking like crazy! If you don't know what that means yet, you will! Cat & Dog! ha ha. They're so different than other K-Pop groups. They're such great people. So talented. I'm so glad I found them years ago. They have so many amazing songs in numerous genres. Anyways, always nice to welcome a new MOA! Really enjoying your reactions! P.S. I was just really taken aback realizing how people wrote them off before giving them a legitimate chance. I think comparing them to anyone was absolutely unnecessary and even if they were being marketed as a younger sibling group, why wouldn't you root for them and wish them the best? Regardless TXT has blocked out the haters and accomplished themselves as their OWN group. They have their own style, amazing stage presence, and great visuals. Thank you for your recommendations. I think I may check Runaway soon then!

I loved both Deja Vu and Chasing That Feeling. Chasing That Feeling was the first TXT song I heard. Then Deja Vu brought me back to them, now since watching that guide I can't get enough of them.
