not you finding out TXT has one of the best, most consistent, boy group discographies since their debut. the titles are godd, the b-sides are awesome. and I'm loving to watch your TXT journey

One thing that is always true about TXT is that they have non-skip discography, the only Title Track in this line-up is Runaway and Goodboy Gone Bad the rest was B-side If non fans would imagine TXT as soft concept kpop they would think ballads and cutesy songs but for TXT fans their "soft concept" is not soft at all instead they get slap with rock, pop rock, funk, rnb, pop, afrobeats, jazz, house and so on 😂 Thanks for this i always love your reactions it's like watching myself when i first discover them same reactions i was gagged 😂

PUMA actually has a deeper meaning at the time , a puma escaped the zoo ( it never hurt anyone ). When they found it they shot and killed it just for escaping, even though it didn't hurt ayone. This song is the Puma's POV ... like what the puma was thinking and feeling after escpaing and when it got caught again and how evil the new world can be

Commenting as I watch* I love harry potter! I can't remember if they're all fans but I know Soobin is a fan (he also loves anime and would have appreciated your references lol). The korean title for Runaway translates to "waiting for you at 9 3/4 platform" something like that😅. They did a choreo video dancing run away while dressed like harry potter!

Run away really a sad song. Even Nayeon twice cries when txt performs run away at awards show. And actually, Puma based on a real story of a puma that escaped a Korean zoo and though it hurt none of the citizens, they still shoot it dead

This is such a treat because all of these songs are in my top 20 TXT songs. Good Boy Gone Bad gagged me when i first heard it and it solidified my MOA status. Opening Sequence makes me levitate. Run Away was my favorite TXT song until Blue Spring came out. Angel or Devil gave me swaggy TXT realness. Puma gave me rapper Yeonjun and I loves me some rapper Yeonjun.

Opening sequence is one of my favorite TXT songs. Minisode 2 was my first comeback, highly recommend the album as it goes over the 5 stages of grief. Also, it was the first time they did unit songs for an album. I recommend No Rules, New Rules, Dreamer, Eternally, Nap of a Star, and Farewell Neverland. 😊 Always so fun watching your reactions!❤

It’s interesting that you said you weren’t sure if there’s a rock boy group in k-pop because although TXT cover so many genres, one of the genres they are well known for is rock (in fact I’d say a rock influence can be found in a large section of their discography). - I really like how you’re going to approach their music videos in order as TXT’s discography is connected through one overarching storyline (you’ll see this as their album names are titled as chapters). Their discography-based storyline is focused on narratives of youth so each album release focuses on a different chapter of growing up (you’ll notice their music matures the further you get into their discography). - Crown for example uses someone growing horns as a metaphor for the confusing and scary growing pains of adolescence, but once this individual meets some with wings, they learn to see their horns as something to be proud of, like a crown. - Their albums usually extend on the themes and concepts found within the title track so I definitely recommend eventually going through their albums in order as I think it gives you a deeper understanding and appreciation for the story they are telling through their music. - The horns in Crown also tie into the fictional storyline that runs through some of their music videos but I won’t overwhelm you with the details of that right now. - It’s interesting that you mentioned the concept of angel and devil because in their second album they have a song called Angel or Devil (so I think that is a great example of showing how connected all their discography is!) - The beeping sound that can be heard throughout Crown is Morse code for Crown. - You mentioned how synchronised they were and that’s very true. A few years ago someone used a computer programme to analyse the most synchronised Kpop boy groups and TXT was analysed to be the 2nd most synchronised at 93%. I also think they have some of the most creative and interesting choreography in K-pop because they manage to create very fun imagery and effects despite only have 5 members. I’m not great at explaining things but I hope this gives you a little bit more of an idea about TXT. For a guide I really recommend ‘a helpful guide to TXT’ by the chanel beomie bear - the guide gives a really good overview of general group information, their group journey, individual journeys, their discography and the member’s personalities. I know that this channel is coming out with an updated guide video soon (I think within the next month) so I’d suggest waiting for that to come out because with each update they seem to add a lot of helpful information. fyi in run away at some point they say magic island and txt actually have a song called magic island and they have a music video but the mv is 13mins long so if you ever react to it i would suggest you to listen to the song first and then react to the mv they also have another song called eternally with an almost 20mins long mv and that song if youre going to react to it you must listen to the song on its own first and then watch the mv (you’ll understand when listening to the song lol)

Opening sequence and Good boy gone bad are in the same mini album, track #1 and 2 respectively. You have to listen the whole album in sequence bc it tells a story, if my memory is not wrong, the 5 songs represent the 5 stage of grief post breakup

I don't remember which song you said you wanted some backstory on, so for opening sequence out of the five members Soobin lyric base was the one chosen. He later said that he wrote the lyrics thinking about a movie prologue basically a snippet at the beginning of a movie which shows you the end of it. Also I kind of giggled when you said put YJ in a horror movie because while he can pull off the good boy gone bad scary aesthetic, he is a coward and can barely even handle horror-themed escape rooms he would not be able to act in a horror movie 😂😂😂

dunno if anyone else commented this but around 5 years ago the members each voted for what house they'd all be in like they were each given a piece of paper with all 5 members' names on them, and they had to write which house they thought they'd each be in, so including themselves. then, the highest votes per house per member became that member's house for a halloween dance practice of Run Away they did there was differing opinions of course but in the end, Yeonjun had the most votes for Slytherin, Beomgyu got Gryffindor, Soobin and Kai got Hufflepuff, and all five of them voted Ravenclaw for Taehyun lmao which is the objectively correct choice in hindsight the others may not be entirely right, like i remember Taehyun voted Slytherin for Kai and Hufflepuff for Yeonjun and he's not wrong, especially for Yeonjun but -shrug-
