Okay so I saw somewhere that PUMA is referring to a story which happened in a zoo in Korea in 2018. I did a lil research and this is what I found : A puma got out of his cage by mistake and tried to leave. The puma got shot by the police... Tho he didn't do anything wrong... A zoo keeper left the door unlocked after cleaning his cage so he naturally went out. These guys hunted him for hours and the puma was found shot dead. The police says they tried to shoot him with tranquilizer first but the puma kept going. This zoo already had a bad reputation cuz some animals already escaped from it. Lots of people were terrified when they heard that dangerous animals could be released in the city. This MV makes much more sense when you know the story behing the song. The boys are obviously criticizing the system, they are portraying the puma, they are all trapped in some sort of hell representing the puma's captivity. They act like animals in the choreo, Yeonjun and Soobin are literally smelling meat. Taehyun manages to break his chain and then Yeonjun gets shot... They clearly speak up about the fact that people should rather imagine how a puma lives trapped in a zoo than be mad at the zookeepers for letting him escape. It's a really powerful song and this MV just portrays it so well. I literally have no words... And if you read the lyrics of the song it's even more obvious... The way they express this fear but freedom feeling is just breathtaking... I hope this helped a bit :)

*Beomgyu's* scene with the arrows surrounding him, was a very sexy hey dope shot and *Huening Kai* how he came bursting through their hands like, damn! And *Soobin's* eyes changed towards the end of the video, omg! 🔥😭

Puma is a huge metaphor for them leaving home (guess they went from being pets to being wild animals) and having to alone fend for themselves in the wild, dangerous world out there. The lyrics reference metaphorically their trainee years and them being "hunted" for the smallest things on the internet. It's such a great song!

The MV was too much to take😂 For those interested in some background information, let me say that this track is really an interesting one cuz it's based on a true story. I watched their vlive so I know it for a fact. They use a strong metaphor to detail their journey by paralleling their struggles with that of a puma that escaped a zoo in South Korea and was eventually shot dead. The metaphor conveys the idea of breaking free. After I did some research I found out that the case of this escape sparked a massive debate about animal abuse in Korea. Definitely a reason why I think their choice of metaphor is even more interesting cuz it's meaningful :)

I feel like with this album TXT just decided to comeback grown grown. lol

The English title for this song is "puma" (trans from the korean: puma that escaped from the zoo) and it's about an actual puma that escaped from a korean zoo and was killed after a few hours of freedom. the song talks about getting away from restrictions and finding your freedom while pursuing your dream. you can see how the boys free themselves from the chains in the mv. The song is not about anything sexual at all, please don't see it that way. Some of the members are still minors. This was wild !!! But in a good way! This track was actually my favorite of the album which is why I was looking forward to this a lot and the MV did not disappoint: it was dark and intense, unique and primal. I find them so incredible, especially dance wise: their choreographies are so unique and experimental and that’s why I find them so interesting to watch perform. They’re really setting themselves appart from other groups thanks to their performance skills. Here on top of just the dance, the facial expressions, the way they literally embodied the wild side of themselves and portraying the animals are no joke. It was definitely a superbe performance.

The meaning of this song is based on a real story of a Puma The zoo keeper forgot to close the door of the cage of the Puma so ofcourse,the Puma escaped. Once they found the Puma they shot it on the head even tho they could catch it with a net. Just hear the lyrics out they're deeper than u thought
