@@ADT2525 If he was planning to sell any of the big cards, what better way to drum up interest and gain exposure than have it pulled on a big youtube channel? Makes sense to me
@Andrew M If he hit something BIG, he really wouldn't need the exposure to sell it in my opinion. Just pay to have it promoted on eBay. For me 85% of the joy is ripping the packs myself. At the end its all just ones opinion
After seeing the cards pulled from this case for $3,600. Topps is getting over on the consumer. If the cards don't get better on tycoon Tuesday might have to change the name to Money Burning Monday. Still very entertaining to watch
I'd love to watch a "How It's Made" episode on some of these high end cards. From design, production, and procurement of autographs and relics. Fascinating
We've seen lots of stains on relics, but I can't remember seeing a wrinkle. Maybe someday there will be a relic with a tear in it. That would be a cool one if it were authenticated and you could see the game it was from.
Do people realize that rookies cards are coming in 25 different set these days versus 1 or 2 back then...Those will have 0 value in the future sadly. Topps enjoy their last ride to make sure they are making most of this and that's sad
It is pathetic, isn't it? The least these card companies could do is put out a quality product, with at least a fair return on investment. Some of these boxes were massive losses. I don't like the way these card companies are going.
@@ChrisJohnson-hk6es i agree. most of these triple threads boxes give an average output of around $60ish, that's actually terrible. Also if you are lucky enough to pull a Jrod auto out of this, you still pretty much break even.
@@lukashummer6857 exactly! Could easily buy one at the card shop for the price of a box. The really sad part? Whoever gets that JRod will be really unhappy if he doesn't pan out like so many hope. I was crazy about Tatis when he came out, and his little antics hurt the investment. It's such a gamble these days!
Congratulations Gavin Knight. That Aaron Nola card is awesome! There was a few killer cards. I know the fall over hit wasn't in there however the cards were super good looking and it was a lot of stars. Thank you gentlemen for letting us see and cheers. That was fun!
Really like the look of these, but why the sticker auto? I mean, these are pretty high price points, and I would expect on card autos. Either way, thanks for the video, Jabs! 🙏
If you think attached he's Acuna and Soto relic card is worth more money than a wander Franco autographed Relic something is wrong that's bad advice that card is nowhere near the price of that other card
