A couple who has been blessed to meet as teenagers and married 25 years, telling me how to be and feel as a single person. IT'S HARD. I've been trying to believe but I'm losing hope I'll ever have a husband. It does feel like a curse. I've yet to find a single person preaching about singleness.

The timing of this couldn't be more perfect I've been single now for 3 years following a marriage that was broken by a domestic violence that could have taken my life we were both soldiers and truly I loved him dearly....what if it seems I can't move from this im embracing my singleness and the first year or two I think I cried like every day just releasing years of repressed pain but now I find myself wanting to open opportunity where for the past 3 years I have sternly had them doors closed I'm praying for guidance continually this is just all so new to me and I can't bare going one step away from the Lord even more so for a man again as that is what has happened before letting go of my faith for relationship ...what if I can't trust myself again or don't know how to sometimes I think I may be single forever but my heart tells me God has a love for me as big if not bigger than this love that grows in me due to him each day

How does one tell another person single or not what they should do with their free time? Some folks assume that single folks have nothing else to do but wait on a spouse? We have friends, family, careers, businesses, hobbies. Some are taking care of loved ones or themselves. I’m personally doing me while believing and preparing for my mate!
👏 👏 Yesss! This! My friends who are also single are very active with careers, nonprofits, activism, raising kids, etc.. Most seasoned singles aren't passively waiting around for a spouse.
@@NorthPhilly-zr7xc Christ came so that we might have life, and life in abundance. Married or solo we don’t have to spend all of our free time at the church or doing church stuff. When you live the happy productive purposeful life that God gave you, you are putting God first. You are showing him gratitude by living your best life!
However, according to God it wasn't good for man to be alone and that was the only thing God said it wasn't good after creating it. All that we pray for is that through His Grace we will find our suitable partner.....
I love this digital series so far! It has been on point in many ways. Almighty God is a jealous God and will not share His Glory with another. So if we want His results, we must live our lives and do things HIS WAY. It should be all about maintaining our relationship with Him first and foremost ---- everyone and everything must come afterwards. And that's not to say we have to spend 2 hours in prayer and Bible study before everything else but we do have to intentionally and sincerely give the Lord His due thanksgiving and adoration.
God bless them both.. but This I had to stop watching… as a Single women who’s about to turn 38 this year the most frustrating thing is to listen to a couple who were blessed enough to find each other at 18 giving advice to women who are in my situation that we shouldn’t focus on being married… I really don’t think they truly understand or know the feeling of being in that situation..I’m sorry I don’t know how to switch that emotion off…. I just pray the Jesus my love will help me get past these emotions and see the light in my situation 🙏🏽

I know how you feel and it’s hard now to find someone who you are equally yoke with. The only thing I got out of this message was do not put marriage as an idol because then you are putting being married before God. Just go to God in prayer about your situation. Blessings to you 🙏🏽
You're not alone in your feelings sis. I really struggle with married people who were single for all of five seconds giving advice to singles. 🙄 I'm not saying they can't give us advice. But they cannot understand the unique challenges of being a seasoned single nor can they give practical advice from personal experience.

Praise the Lord I'm single by choice I just want to continue grow with God at this time to share to help lustful fornicators and I don't need to ask God the holy spirit already tells me cause I'm resting in the Lord reveal and expose is always going on in my spirit I'm constantly seeking God as I'm single by choice this is wonderful to have trust and faith in god like I never in my life had before such a blessing to me I thank God for the good and bad. My question is "How can someone that get married so young, give advice to people that experience way more than what you have?" If you have no knowledge of what I have been through and struggled with, how can you give me advice when you never walked a day in my struggle or experience? I always wondered how married people, that had married young, can easily give advice in an area that they have no knowledge about. It is wrong to lead someone in the wrong way to go but it is very easy for Christians to fall trap to doing so. Be very mindful of the words that you choose to let out of your mouth. It is just better to say, "I don't know or I am not experience enough in that area," than to say anything that can turn someone away from God because they feel as though you have not answered their questions or that you don't know anything.
It might be helpful to ask Almighty God to reveal to you why this offended or angered you. Sometimes we take offense to things because there is a deep unhealed wound in our heart and only the Lord is able to show us what caused the hurt and then help us to heal. Proverbs 4:24(NIV): Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
