This is a pattern that catches me a lot of fish all year round.
I tend to use the heavy eyes featured in the video mainly for fishing the margins on a floating or sink tip line, as they get down to depth brilliantly.
I do still fish these in an intermediate or sinking line, but you can replace with chain bead eyes to give less weight.
Hook - Kamasan B800 Long Shank
Thread - White 8/0
Eyes - Elite Flies ‘Glo’ Eyes
Rabbit - Troutline White Barred
Straggle - Flybox Synergy Micro Straggle Fl Red
Head - Waste rabbit fur with barred section cut.
Simple but very effective.
