Hi Davie I started fishing with my grandfather aged 4. I have loved it all my life (38) and I have just started tying. Your videos are inspirational, they set the bench mark as far as any other videos I can find. Thank you and please keep uploading they have helped so much.
Great fly, I seem to have missed quite a few of your video's from 2009. It is always surprising when I find a new one, no matter how long ago you posted it, when I see it, it's new to me. Thanks again for all of your tying wisdom you share so unselfishly with the rest of us. All the best, Sean
Esa la probaré un día de estos aquí en el río orbigo León España. Pues rebuscando telares encontré una caja con esta mosca y varias que había comprado hace muchos años en una grande superficie..
thanks for your speedy responce davie and answering my next question about capes that you answered for branddollarz there expensive so thanks for your time and help from all us tyers
Nice fly. Have you ever heard of a trout fly called a 'cod & chips'. I have looked for it on the internet high and low but can't seem to find any pictures of it.
hi davie, lovely spinner variant. thats some good quality grizzly you got where would i get a saddle? iv got a couple of metz cree saddles would they do? could you get away with using bigger than usual hackle like a 14 for 16 and so on? love the tying on this, the tail lift and hackle lift, great tying davie i might incorporate them methods on some wet flys! tight lines
Hi Davie. I tend to fish stillwaters more than rivers, but really want to get into the latter. I'm not brilliant at tying small delicate flies. Do you know of a place where I could buy small river dries and nymphs? Cheers, Kristian
hi davie, I was wondering if you do a dvd or something, its for my father-in-law. We have both just started to tie flys as of christmas 2009, and he does not have the internet, and i dont know if it is possible to download them.
