Great video! Thanks for the followup. Why is the main knot tie-off at grommet 9 and not 8?

This looks like a Wilson pro knot with a twist for added bulk. From my experience with tennis rackets, the double half hitch produce the least amount of tension loss since its easier to sinch a half hitch than a variant of a half hitch which is what most of these knots are. You can see this by comparing two rackets, one with a double half hitch and the other using another method. The one with the double half hitch always has more tension on the segment that was tied off.

Agreed, this actually is just a Wilson pro knot. Normally taught by pushing string along side of first loose half-hitch, then up through first loose half hitch. The twist is smart so that it just changes the perspective for the Stringer so you're passing tag through instead of passing tag up, if that makes sense. Great video. It explains the importance of cinching up the loose string segment after the initial hand tightening cinch.

I would love for you to do this again but put your video in a better spot. Definitely the best explained video but poor showing. I still can't figure out how to do this.

@@onnchoonwong2459 just look up Wilson pro knot. It's the same. The twist just changes the perspective

Do you not realize that your hand is STILL blocking the knot? Assuming that you actually rewatch your videos before you post them on RU-vid, I don't see how anybody can miss the fact that your hand is in the way as you tie the knot...like seriously.

The tension of the plier pull is not equal to the tensioner pull. How can you say that there is no tension loss. There is , and you are wrong!

+Bálint Vásárhelyi The point is that there's less tension loss.

this would be a great video if we actually could see what you were doing. it's probably really simply, but since i don't know how to tie the knot this video doesn't really help, because your hands is blocking everything.

Ya, the camera should be placed at a different angle.

That's a Yonex Arcsaber 100 Limited Edition. It is basically the same as a Arcsaber 7.

can't see properly, It should be better if the camera is at another side which can see through the whole string and process rather than hands
@wuhc55
@wuhc55 12 лет назад
you might want to position the camera from the other side because your hand is blocking the view like your previous video.
