Tying the Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear Sakasa Kebari 

I have always enticed and caught more trout on a wet fly all day long or a hairs ear nymph in a dead drive with a bright colored stop/yarn. I like this style of fly. simple and works great! Soft hackles are my best overall fly. But! sometimes a griffiths gnat can not be beat!

What a beautiful looking fly and such an interesting adaptation of an old standard. :-)
