I am an immigrant from Nepal. Very much into 90's American thrash metal. But a while ago a friend of mine from Minnesota introduced me to Tyler Childers. This shit is just awesome. I can play this on loop a 1000 times and never get tired. One more thing to love about America.
Right on my friend! So happy to have you here! I too am very much a heavy Metal and speed and thrash guy. But for last few years I've learned to love Tyler, and Billy Strings. For months, my car has played nothing but Billy Strings and Ghost. 🤣🤣 Take it easy, my Nepalese friend!
Not all Nashville music sucks as bad as what makes the radio. Tyler will be playing Nashville's Ryman Auditorium soon. Jason Isbell, Buddy Miller and Chris Stapleton are mainstays of the Ryman, now. There is great music everywhere. You just gotta find it.
freetickeys He isn't talking about Nashville artists. He is talking about the country labels who make pop country play on the radio and force it down people's throats.
Maybe like Americana rock and roll. Something like the resurgence of 1950s music today. I think he'd most be attuned to things that sound pre 1980, before the heavy use of synthetic sounds.
He’s got a raspy cobain quality to his voice, like I bet he could add more distortion to it if he wanted to and do harder rock. Probably comes from smoking if I had to guess.
Chills just lost my nephew from a massive heart attack. We are both 64 years old . Just 3 weeks older. This person , was so special to me to have known him all my life. Such kind. And for now, the angels came and took him and my heart is so broken. Talented home builder ,wood carver. Loved lookin for special rocks crystals. See ya in heaven little brother
"Well my buckle makes impressions on the inside of her thigh" is the best opening line of all time. So vivid, so raw, but still sensual. That's song writing on Jason Isbell level right there
My new favorite song. This song makes me wanna dance in the kitchen with a big ol' country boy. Thanks for giving us your heart, Tyler. I can listen to you for days.
I’m sitting down here on a Friday in Alabama while drinking rum and smoking a cigar thinking “Ol Tyler has written a dang good country song” tonight. God bless you bad...
Tyler is the real deal. Seeing him this past weekend, his constant support of Appalachia and the fight against the opioid pandemic touches the soul and inspires others to keep up the fight
My son put me onto this guy...so reminds me of being 16 again Bumping through the old mile of corduroy bush road camping back on a lonely lake with snappers, bucket mouth bass and rattlesnakes a guitar beer and good friends.
Hello I really do appreciate you for being a big fan, thank you for your wonderful comments on my post,it really means a lot to me.I sincerely hope you never stop listening to my music
Just saw my comment from 3yrs ago and i cant make sense of it but its weird because ive always had 777 as my luckies. But it says 778? Dont know why there's numbers at all. Im here to day because the love of my life, my soulmate Josh Miers passed away this weekend.he was only 46 and had congestive heart failure. We have a 14 yr old little girl together and we are missing him something fierce. He learned how t play this song and i would sing it and youve never seen such a happy smile as the one's he'd wear when he was playing and i was singing. This is the hardest thing I've ever been through Thank God for Tyler and the Boys. Esp. CRAIG. Ill never forget that 1st show I took Josh to...aafter the show i was talking to Jesse and Craig came over to meet us. You made his night and of course mine too. All i can do is cry. Help me make it thru the night
Hi Jessie. We are so sorry for your loss. Things are really tough right now and this must be incredibly hard for you. We are honored that you and Josh were so inspired by Tyler. We are lucky to work with Tyler and so fortunate to put this performance out in the world. We never imagined that this video shot in our small office in Nashville would be viewed by so many and that it would bring so much joy. Thank you for you comment. Take great care of your little girl and enjoy the memories of your soulmate. We will pass this along to Tyler's manager. Their whole crew is the best.
@@lrbaggsmedia so kind and thoughtful of y'all to reply to my comment. Thank you. Thank you for all of the content and for bringing Tyler into the homes of people who had just found him or couldn't afford the album until after the bills are paid. Hes right there at the touch and tap of a finger. We are all so grateful for your little studio there in Nashville. I will carry y'all in my heart forever ♥
That's just masterful songwriting right there. Poetry. I grew up in Western West Virginia across the Big Sandy river where Tyler grew up. I know exactly what he means when he sings about "looking over west virginia" and "run across the river". Eastern Kentucky is the home of real country music as far as I'm concerned.
This is my one of my favorites! My buckle makes impression on the inside of her thighs... While the country music on the Radio is getting worse and falling off the cliff. This is what I'll be listening to!
I reckon that's the best performance I've listened. The music of Tyler dont need more instruments. Bass, drums, acoustic guitar, and pedal steel. Greets froms Spain.
I heard this song for the first time today at WORK and I cried and it made me feel so many things and mostly how I wish I had a love like this with someone who feels deeply for me.
This was the last song my wife and me danced to on our wedding night. Music guy looked perplexed when i requested it I said.. that's the song i wanna remember this night to.. gave him about 8 gallons of wine to go home with. i bet he plays it at other weddings
This is the best country music out there today but no radio station will ever play it because he is too effed to get back home or because we been sniffing that kahcaine and aint nothing better when the wind blows cold. Such a travesty for country music to ignore such talent
This is the best thing Maybe ever I'll have to get back to you on that one after trying to make a deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich with bacon.
Sometimes I wonder if my cat realizes how extremely lucky he is to live in a home that listens to Tyler Childers every single day of his life 😊. He could have ended up in a Florida Georgia Line's fans house.
