Because of the fans we have now, are from the blurryface album. Most fans came from regional at best and vessel and probably knew about Tyler's album No Phun Intended. There weren't many fans when Tyler was making his own songs, I mean he wrote these when he was still in high school and performed them there.
No one knows what vessell, regional at best, self titled, and this are and are crazy about Blurryface I'm glad no phun intended isn't as mainstream but same time wish more people appreciated it
+CYBERFATE7 gaming Even though I was introduced to TØP through blurryface, I also agree. Compared to Regional At Best, and No Phun Intended, the songs on blurryface are just drier. I still enjoy it though.
I understand what you mean. Something so beautiful shouldn't just be heard but listened to. You want more people to appreciate it ,understand it, not just hear it.
+elfroggo actually no it isn't. The abbreviation TOP doesn't have an incorrect way of spelling. If there's a T an O and a P it's correct. They were right. What they were saying was this wasn't a Twenty One Pilots song. But, a song from Tyler's album No Phun Intended. Sometimes, when I feel alone in the world... When I feel like not even God can see me, I turn on this song and just blast it in my earbuds. It's oddly calming. It makes me feel like at least one person understands what I'm going through... Like I'm not completely alone. It makes me think that if Tyler survived this, I can too.
CYBERFATE7 gaming I feel that all the new fans in the clique should look at all the older sings after listening to all the blurryface songs and heathens. I'm even a new fan, and I listen to a lot of the older songs rather then the newer songs.

I will put the song name in a reply below) and honestly, I love the old tøp so much more. not that I hate the new, not at all. It is a nice change. However, I just think they have changed too much. take any band and it seems like the same thing. (in most cases, that is) But I don't know. Please, anyone at all let me know your thoughts :P
i personally don't think they've changed /too/ much, but i can see why you would think that. the songs on blurryface in general, doesn't seem like a huge change to me, musicwise; however i feel like the lyrics and the album in general is darker. but blurryface is a very different album because it's focusing on the character Blurryface, and tyler's struggles with it. i doubt they will make another album like this (where there is a certain focus) and every artist/band tends to have that one experimental album, that sticks out from the rest, and Blurryface is just that. no need to worry fren, tyler and josh know what they are doing, they would never stray from their roots or their core fanbase.

I spent a half an hour perfecting my makeup and then I listen to this. I listened to this song millions of times but then I saw a stupid comment saying something like: "Tyler in highschool: makes amazing lyrics that save lives... Me in highschool: eating Oreos at 3:16am" I realized I'm not going anywhere in life, practically, I'm going to be eating Oreos at 3:16am, but, then I persuaded myself that I will do something, I will be someone, something. I just have to get something off my chest, you don't have to read this, just scroll past it. I don't know what to do, I want to stay alive, but the problem is, I'm not living. I feel like just an empty body, no one understands me. I can't talk to anyone, I'm so afraid of people it's affecting everything I do. The only way I'm getting through this, is music. Yesterday I cut myself, I know it's bad, I know I shouldn't do it, but biting and scraching myself didn't satisfy me anymore. It doesn't ease the emotional pain I'm in anymore. I get panic attacks way too often. My friends talk behind my back and I'm wondering if it is me. I know it is me. I disgust myself. I'm a coward.

Whoa. It's 3 months later and I'm doing slightly better. I've got a girlfriend now and she makes me a lot happier. It's still very hard most of the time and music is still the main reason I'm doing "okay-ish". Thank you all so much for responding, you don't know how much that means to me. I know that everyone says this, but TØP has gone so far from Tyler and Zack recording the most emotionally deep songs in their basement to now, with Tyler and Josh on their first full arena-only tour.

I don't believe in God and I think the idea of someone who sees everything and loves you and will protect you but I don't think that could be possible it seems absurd but I do still love Tyler Joseph and his music and I love how religious he is.
May I ask why you believe it's absurd? I'm a Christian and it was actually harder not to believe in God than it was to believe for me. All those questions like "Where did the universe come from? How do people exist? What really happened with the empty tomb/Jesus?" etc. either factually or statistically point towards God. It took trying to find evidence of God not existing to give me faith in Him, haha! If you're ever curious about why I believe, feel free to ask me. I'd love to explain it, but I never want anyone to feel like I'm forcing anything on them. I'd like everyone to believe in God, but the choice is always theirs', not mine. :)
Tawny Kenobi It's that i'm in a highly catholic country and almost everyone I know is catholic do it's always forced on me, but my father didn't know what to believe, he was going from muslim to athiest to spirituality and so on.I guess I found it funny somehow because I found myself looking to comedians for guidance and I turned to George Carlin and Bo Burnham and the like. So after them revealing what they believed influenced me into believing it aswell and now the idea of an invisible entity you cannot see/feel or communicate to seems absurd to me.
I understand. I have friends with beliefs ranging from atheism to mormonism. One of my friend's favorite people is actually Bo Burnham! I have felt God and communicated with Him though. Anyway, thanks for letting me know where you are coming from!
