Tyler is one of the best out there right now, lyrically speaking. He has a great voice and can arrange some beautiful music, but the way he writes a song always manages to dive deep beneath the surface to connect on a spiritual level. Not many in the game as talented as him today.
His music tells the world what’s in my soul, in my thoughts. I feel a rush of peace to my insane mind. Cut my Lip I found clarity and realized that my relationship with my mother is a drag and I always put myself in situations with her where I’m abused. I keep trying and I always let her know that I AM strong for her. But blood is always on my tongue. I keep on trying.
I was introduced to TOP about four years ago from my (20 year old) kids and as time goes by I love them more and more. They are easily my very favorite band. I can’t say enough positive things about these guys. They are so extremely talented in so many ways. I am absolutely addicted to them and never get tired of hearing their music

So I don't know if you are still looking for an answer but I am bored right now so I figured I'd share the fairly basic understading I have of how Tyler might do it. Basically, the pad connects to his laptop via a cord. He then pre loads the loops/samples (before this set ever happened) onto a program that allows these loops/samples to be triggered by the pad in a live scenario. He is then able to play stop and start it usually by pressing the same pad but he uses a big pad so there could be buttons on the pad to stop and loop the tracks. If you have any other questions let me know and I can try to explain!
@@nathanrrowe thanks so much for taking the time .....yep I get the preloading bit and do it - sometimes quite well - but I have studied the vid of him on his own talking about and "recreating' his songs and he hits a pad on his MPD226 (record) plays a jingle of a few notes, hits the MPD226 twice (stop, playback) then uses one or two controllers to modify the loop to the sound he wants and then starts adding other lines or loops. So this is live looping like the plethora of other artists who use looper pedals to build up their songs or compositions. I have Ableton Live - the clue is in the name - and the MPD226 like Tyler - so I should be able to emulate the process. A guy called il soy does a great RU-vid where he shows his method on Ableton and I managed most of the pad assignments and recorded some loops via the pads but stopping and starting them gave the set up some probs - recorded when should have stopped etc. Ableton have a looper plugin but I have only the Lite version which doesn't. Most other software loopers just seem to overdub - if you can't get the recorded loops to come in and out then all that's left is a boring monotonous wall of sounds. I appreciate your contribution and will look again at Tyler and maybe someone has posted something new. It's wet and horrible here so maybe even try today. Cheers !
do you have the file for the cover without the tape and text logos on it? like just the thumbnail from the video, for some reason its higher quality than any rip i can get now so if you still have that original image i would really appreciate it :)
