I know we were SUPPOSED to feel sorry for Stella in this scene because things took a left turn for her but honestly I didn't because Kelly warned her a while back that Tyler was making a play for her and just like with Grant, she brushed him off.

I absolutely agree,@Lizzie Allen. And I hate the way the writers treat Severide. Did you see the promotion for the next episode?! They are trying to kill Kelly in a fire yet again! I'm so fed up! As for Stella, she's just plain stupid. She was ready to jump in bed with hazmat Zach, but then became ultra-jealous when Severide was talking to the new paramedic.

Kelly is a bad communicator. In a previous scene he could have told Stella,'' I don't want hang out with guy who clearly has feelings for you. I don't know what to do." Then say I'm give you space then when this scene happens your not the one with bad communication skills and walking away.

February 16, 2021 - Yes Kelly is a bad communicator, that has always been the problem in his and Stella's relationship... It is funny because Taylor Kinney (Kelly Severide) was interviewed a few days ago and HE said his character needs to talk more and communicate with Stella.... Despite this Stella and Severide are the best couple on #ChicagoOne franchise

He actually did it, in the first episode that Tyler appeared Kelly told Stella that he was in love with her and she shut down Kelly over and over again until it was late, so Stella is the real guilty one because the whole thing of Tyler happened before Benny’s death

Kudos to Kidd for taking care of herself. And smh at the women who criticize that because Severide is too good looking to be treated that way. Sheesh!!!! Losing his Dad is terrible but it does not give him the right to treat her like sh$t, pushing her away, and acting like she just annoys him. Severide is still immature in so many ways after all this time. Move on, Stella, and find someone who appreciates you!

I agree..kelly has very poor communication skills and hiped ego..all when not had happened if he would have just told stella about tyler..but he didn't..anyway he had een very distant with her which was wrong so that had a lot to do with stella not paying him any attention.She's strong. Except for the facts. She said Kelly was right and then proceeded started ranting at him for pushing her away in the first place. (after his father died. When you're grieving there is NEVER a point of "come on its been however long" - I don't understand how she could genuinely ignore the warning Severide gave her about him. Severide was never the jealous type, he was the observe and warn type, Stella ignored him and justified herself into being right because she CHOSE to not see Tyler's intentions. Stella is by far the worst character on this show. She was cool at first but I genuinely cannot stand her after what she did to Severide AFTER all of this. She ran off and ignored him and got jealous when he became friends with Seager from OFI. I wish she had stayed wherever she was and sent divorce papers because Pelham EARNED that spot and then she just had the idea to come back and act like NOTHING had happened. If anything, KELLY DESERVES BETTER.

She knew Tyler for much longer than she did Kelly so it was no wonder she was convinced Tyler only saw her as a friend. He did see her as a friend a long time ago but it was clear his feelings changed as tome went on.

I'm going to on a rant. I don't like these particular moments especially since 51 know Severide, she could've asked people about his behavior and found out he wasn't jealous. Stella brushed off his warning, same with her ex husband. He's cautious and she was going to that lakehouse without Severide, Tyler and her could've gotten drunk and then something could've happened because of Tyler. He was protecting her. Tyler was literally trying to bad mouth Severide so he'd look good, it was so obvious. Then she got jealous about the women around him, Renee being threatened was justified since that lady does not take a hint. Seager is probably closest to a friend or sister. No apology or saying 'I realize you were right and...' . I feel like the marriage concept should've stayed on the back burner until they evened things out between them or to take time to sort things out on their own time.

I think the show heavily invested way too much time and effort into Dawson and her romantic exploits. They became comfortable resting their pen on writing her as the central romantic lead that it made them lazy with how they treat other cast members. Now they need an anchor romance. I found the writing of Stellaride leading to their recent breakup was fickle and trash. It's enough to make you want to bounce. And worse of all, they even attempted to try Foster with Kelly. I thought when Annie arrived she would be a real heart beat to the show. Now I am waiting for her to leave.

Never really liked Stella. She's one of those "one of the boys" girls. This is why when you're in a relationship, it's a bad thing. You can't be that close and playful with every guy you know and not expect to be leading them on or for them not to catch feelings. Also it's funny how she had words with Kelly when Kelly said something to Tyler, after she straight up threatened Renee. Oh the hypocricy.
