I’m on my own for the first time in my life and it’s been scary to say the least. A lot of lonely days, a lot of uncertainty, but a whole lot of hope. With so much alone time, I reflect on my childhood and upbringing a lot. What I realized recently is how tremendously blessed I am. Not because I had a traditional upbringing but because as a child I blessed with a wonderful gift. The gift of God. And that’s because my grandmother introduced her to him when she was a child. And although my grandfather and father have been instrumentally important in how I turned out, I thank God everyday because being introduced to him as a child has been the single most important, greatest gift anyone could’ve ever given to me. Tyler is on to something: Had it not been for prayers, church services, and social media gospel outreach such as this, there would be no calm in the storm of life. Life isn’t always easy, but during the most tumultuous points, when you have God in your life, there’s an indescribable level of PEACE unattainable elsewhere. #GoTyler
