When she got her own show, then George Jefferson moved in the neighborhood to antagonize Archie, before they did a spin off, and none of them stayed in the shows they spun off from.
These writers know that many people watch Sistas only to see what is happening with Zac and Fatima. Tyler Perry wrote Zac and Fatima as the "super couple" of the show. These new writers think if they give us less Zac and Fatima as well as sabotaging their relationship, it would give them more of an opportunity to write for the other characters in the hopes that they can generate the same interest in them. In my opinion, it's not working. Give us the Zac and Fatima the fans all love!!!! By the way, I get Zatima on BET+. Can't wait for Season 3 to start. Funny how I used to feel this way about Sistas before they started messing up Zac and Fatima!
Lot of people don’t want to admit it but Zac Fatima are the main reason people watch the show because what’s so interesting about the other cast members they keep trying to have Karen tied to Zac so she can have some type of storyline
They are straining to make Karen relevant. She really has no storyline except trying to insert herself in Zac and Fatima's life. Sistas was going down the tube before Crystal and Zac became a couple, that Zac bashing Karen was doing , kicking him to the curb for Aaron, and having an affair with Ricco wasn't doing it. Danni and Preston was the "IT" couple but Zac and Fatima shadowed their relationship, and they have become the main attraction on Sistas even though TP wanted to capitalize on their chemistry by giving them their own show. Now they are lifting the weight for both shows and stuck on Sistas to keep Karen relevant. The way things are going now if they turned off the lights and closed the set on Sistas, no one would really care as long as Zatima was still on the air, even Gary with all his shenanigans' wouldn't be able to save it. This thing about kids and babies everywhere is not working either for us grown folks who want to see grown folks. The They need to give Karen a decent storyline and make her grow as a strong black woman instead of making her a bitter, jealous and delusional woman who is hell bent on reducing herself to get a man who don't want her, baby or not.
Ask yourself if Zac not Karen BD than what the reason them to be on SISTAS? That love to break up shh can stay on Zatima and than shh starting to get old! Zatima character is going to law school so there no need her to be running behind Audi and Hayden for a storyline. Zatima is taking a long time to come back on because writers have no realistic storyline for them. How many time they arguing and breaking up to make up can they do. Karen is the reason why Zac n Fatima have a role in Sistas. Y’all feeling hurt because one of them baby by the bastard axx Zac!
You know Tyler has no problem killing off a child. Maybe Zack child might not make it and Aaron child will be left. And Fatima can have her baby with Zack.
Zac and Fatima went from being the supporting cast characters to the staring characters on the show. It’s as if they stole the entire show. Just look at how Crystal and Devale have been coming on talk shows repping for both shows when they actually only are supposedly the main characters on only Zatima. Truthfully there is only character that has received any character development, growth and progress within the 7 seasons and that has been Zac. Although it was short lived when Fatima used to encourage Zac he certainly was changing, developing and growing. Nevertheless Zac is THE main character of both show as far as storylines go and has become the show’s most talked about character. It’s all about Zac. Zac’s life, Zac’s problems, Zac’s family, Zac’s money, Zac baby mamas, Zac’s ex’s and women coming after Zac, yada, yada, yada. Fatima used to stand side by side in the storyline of Zatima with Zac but now she’s just being dragged through the storyline cycles and showing the effects of Zac as it pertains to her life and tolerance. Where her storyline used to be the life of an incredibly independent boss chick that didn’t settle for no mess or less from no one to now have been melted into the life of Zac. Thats why I am hopeful that the writers at least continue to show her getting her education and working it out within her home life. Fatima deserves so much more.

Zac and Fatima are the reason this show has lasted for as long as it has. The writers overdid it with the drama. They threw all this drama at Zac and Fatima. No one couple should have to deal with that drama. Yes Season 5 of Fatima was the worst cornation of Fatima, and hate to admit it Season 7 is the worst cornation of Zac. Zac and Fatima are way better than this. Devale and Crystal are better too. Zatima has been huge. They have their own show for a reason.
In the beginning, Andy was the highlight of the show. The other cast mates were somewhat "unknown." Then here comes Fatima with her skills, matching Zac's and Andy becomes 2nd rate, supporting Fatima. Meanwhile, who cares about Karen, Sabrina, and Dani... i would feel some kinda way. If not jelousy, envy for sure.
One writer said Zack reminds him of his father but something is wrong Danni was the second popular like Zack she went to therapy and know they are crapping on Danni but trying to make Karen mellow out it doesn’t matter cause no one will ever like Karen and Zack and Fatima is forever

Not the Fatima we have grown to love? What about Zac? This is not the Zac that we have grown to love each other. As you are said, they are making Zatima look very unrealistic. I have no idea why they keep wanting to make Zac slow, act like a sucker, a simp, a chump, the list is endless. They aren’t making him street smart which is crazy because he came from the streets.
Devale did say on KIPS podcast that there were some guys that wanted to holler at Crystal...and when TP put them together he went to the guys to let them know about an upcoming sex scene. The writers could written Zatima to be a great power couple.

I liked Fatima from season 1 she was always supportive to Andi as the black woman in the law firm and when she met Zac i couldn't stop smiling they are a perfect fit together.........and i think they is no jealous between the cast it just as us views we like Zatima we always wat to see them together and happy......the writer's just want to keep us guess cause the more we guessing the more we want to watch sistas what will happen to our couple Zatima
Truthfully, I feel the other characters are regressing because of the Zatima storyline. I feel bad for the cast members because they are being shifted out of the storylines.. Crystal and Devale are on Sistas and have their own show.
I would hate to think of the old conquer and divide among such talented African American actors. Yes can some of the unnecessary consistent drama or creating of new drama be minimized yes. Can some of the actors storyline be improved absolutely. I would hatto think that Zac and Fatima's characters are personally being attacked because of insecurities or jealousies. Everyone I'm quite sure has put in hard work for their characters, however if their onscreen chemistry , dedication, and hard work has shown them to be fan favorites and opened up their own spin of then please applaud them and not detroy because this only means JOB WELL DONE. ❤ God is in the blessing business and when you can sincerely celebrate your neighbor, friends and love ones what makes you think he won't do the same for you. I'm not sure if there's a jealous thing between the actors, but the writers have made Zatima so unrealistic...in fact, the entire show is not realistic anymore.
For some reason the new writers are deliberately making these changes in the story lines trying to read Karen's character don't waste your time what was presented to us is what it is and this is how we're going to see that character at all times
Honestly alot of these people have regressed. Andy has regressed, Sabrina has regressed, Danni has regressed too and Karen is still Karen. These guys are not good matches for the women. Sabrina should be with Danni, and Sabrina should be with Tony. Sabrina loves kids, Danni doesn’t.
They keep the drama going for Zac and Fatima because I watch Sistas to see them as do many people based on the post on social media, they always the topic of discussion, positive or negative. Tired of the Gary saga, ready for them babies to be born!
This reminds me of the Fresh Prince and Family Matters where Will Smith and Steve Urkel became stars of the show. That caused conflict with the original Aunt Vivian Janet Hubert-Whitten. Same with Family Matters, Steve Urkel becames an instant hit and then Mary Jo Peyton ended up moving on. I just hate that jealously exists in show business.
But Will was the main character. He's supposed to be the star from day one. Now Urkel, on the other hand, was supposed to be a one episode character but he ended up taking over the show.
I think it's the writers responsibility to make Zack and Fatima gel at least 70% of the time and let Zatima ultimately be the TP version of 'I Love Lucy'.

Yes their is s lot of JEALOUSY between These cast members you can tell, especially Ebony & Novi, Ebony she doesn't follow them or interact with the cast as much. It's hard for them to hide it. I think some of the jealousy also is coming from zac wife everybody loving them together probably hurt her feelings that everybody love how Devale and Crystal chemistry is unmatched, Even with them not having sex scenes anymore their chemistry is still fire 🔥.
I can see your point. Everybody loves Zac & Fatima. However, everyone loves Devale and his Kay Kay. I don’t think there’s any intentional disrespect toward Kay Kay. There hasn’t been a real positive black professional couple on TV since Cliff & Claire Huxtable. Zac & Fatima has a leg up on them because they are more affectionate in addition to being playful. It’s such a relief in so many households to see them, making smiles and warm cozzy feelings right through the screen. That’s all it is, no disrespect to Khadeen, no need to be jealous (She is secure in herself, her man and their marriage).

I see your point! Devale read the script and knew he was married when he took it as did Crystal! They both knew there would be sex scenes as did his wife. I can see how people’s views could have been blurred. This is no disrespect to his wife but that chemistry between the two was definitely unmatched. I was even hoping they would be a real couple before I actually knew Devale had a wife and kids. I have other viewpoints but I’ll keep them to myself because I’m not trying to offend anyone. I’m a Sista fan and it grew because of Zac and Fatima. I only watched the 1st episode of s7 but I don’t like how the show is being written especially Zac and Fatima!

That's not true, Tyler is writing Zatima, but these writers are writing Zatima in Sistas and they hate Fatima characters because one of the writers said himself his Mom is to date a Man like Zac so he's destroying Zac character because of how this man hurt his Mom back in the day.

Right but the fact is Karen don’t want no good man. She had one in Aaron and she pushed him away. Trey seems interested but she tells him it’s not the right time, and she’s right about. I guarantee if the writers give her a new man, they would start to write Fatima and Zac better.

Someone said that Tyler Perry said Zac was going to be written off the show after the breakup with Karen. Seems like Tyler Perry only kept him because Zac and Fatima's character hit it off.
