I was married 34 years. Never dreamed I would be divorced. Tyler Perry is RIGHT -- empowerment, self-confidence, etc. is usually found AFTER divorce. I am a much stronger woman after my divorce. I am happier. Thankful for this movie.

The funeral scene is the best scene ever. I watched the movie and will watch again.

All his movies are NOT the same. I like that he makes movies that are realistic and demonstrate everyday REAL life.

One day this man will make a movie about a family being healthy from the Jump or just working it out. One day he will paint a different picture.

Absolutely great movie Corey and Megan did a phenomenal job. They were so believable in their roles.

Tyler Perry come on you can do better than this. You never even got married so why are you even saying anything about divorce? Megan Gooden was divorce Corey Hart was divorced come on now let’s show people how to stay together work it out for the sake of the children and everybody else in society show them God‘s way.

You can't rewrite his life experiences however You yourself can create the kind of black love stories You wish to see. The hard truth of it is we all can relate in some way or another to most of his projects whether personally or someone we know & love. If you don't care for his creative mind & how he portrays his experiences Please create your own & show us something different. ✌🏾❤🙏🏾

Tyler Perry please hire great screenplay writers. That movie could've been so much better with talented writers. It was very predictable and definitely needed better development. It had potential but fell short, for me.

This man gets the biggest praise for putting out the worst movies. It's incredible. He definitely has his loyal audience. Acrimony, Fall from Grace and Mea Culpa was trash. He definitely need to learn how to work with a team and stop making a movie in a week.

His fan base is loyal because there is a certain group that are the only ones who are actually praising this film. This was not good in anyway. Direction, writing, and the acting was below what these actors are capable of.

Making a movie exploring divorce but couldn't marry the woman you were with for years and had a child with. Seems to me he should be making movies exploring the real reasons behind not heading to the alter with someone good enough to make a baby with.

I was writing in my “Diary of a Mad Black Woman”, “Why Did I Get Married”, it was because of “Acrimony”, so we got a “Divorce in the Black”, and then I got remarried and I thought to myself “Why Did I Get Married 2”, this mf here. I’m tired of living in a “House of Payne”, “I can do bad all by myself” because my name is mf “Mea Culpa”… I’m tired of people making money off other people’s struggles.

This is sooooo real! Haven't seen the movie but to often people stay in marriages out of religious obligations. Ask me how I know!

Even if the world forces George and I to separate, to justify their self idoltry, we may part but forever be married. And will join together again, even in eternity. Mission accomplished

I like the trailer; because I think it tells the real or hidden struggle of an african female but the experience; or heartache; pain; and struggle when it comes to an african female's internal or deepest but protected and hidden feelings; but also it mentions wo; what; when; where; how; and why; african female's are in dealing with african male's even in specificity or any human but in a point in or of specificity but it it mentions how african female's survive but notices how african female's make it or but rather... I think it... It highlights the struggle of african female's being in a safe place but in trying to end positively; which is life; but which or what is hard to do. It is feeling and it notices the reality or rather a or the journey of an african female. The feelings; the situations; the deeds of an african female when under pressure or attack... Her loyalty but character trait in always being nice but showing positivity in anything despite the struggles or situations that are internal or external from supernatural warfare but also in or from attacks or situations that come against an african female as a human but also as the mother of all the living; but also as the mystery of the covenant; that God; Jesus; and The Holy Ghost created an african female to be. An african female is the mystery of the covenant; the mother of all the living; the tree of life; cush; but also Dark Brown. There is supernatural but it is reality truth of an african female in this film. "The voices kept talking to me and i just started writing it down". I am curious about "the voices". I was writing some stuff recently and the Holy Spirit was talking to me. I guess we co-wrote. But it was only the one voice. Recent interviews of people channeling the spirits of the thr ancestors, allowing the character to basically possess them, concern me greatly. I'm probably going to watch out of curiosity, but i will definitely be praying first. If God says turn it off or shut it down, that's just what i will do.
