@@nickjacobs8242 in my country they do, it's gigs and festivals where you stand. This is due to the venues concerts require, they all have built in seating so you'll be seated the majority of a time at a concert here, unless you can somehow find a large venue that doesn't have built in seating.

So no, legally he wasn't obligated to give her the ticket. If he had given her a physical copy of the ticket, then sure, you may have had a point, but as it stands you're completely wrong. You can't take someone to court and go "Well he was going to take me, but then we broke up. So now he's taking someone else." No court would side with her on this. Sorry, bud.
