Honestly I would love to see Tyler in a Wes Anderson film I can imagine him playing a rich young man or the bellboy in like the full pink met gala get up at a famous hotel in some European country
When i first went to Camp Flog Gnaw in 18' i was able to meet him in a bathroom and he just casually walks in takes a wiss and i told him i like his fit and honest to god he gave me a limited man purse which was the baby blue and dude can jam out. Love this guy.
I started buying more hats cause of Tyler. I love his collection of random things that he likes, and I like to imagine that the things I collect are like his. Really unique and different
When I was explaining to my mom abt the Tyler concert I was going to and trying to explain to her he’s not like a typical gangster rapper and he’s more in his “luxury hotel worker era”
Just like all of us they just grew and matured. Most times your style changes with that and gets more your own style which increasingly just gets better and better as you get older and understand how to dress better. My style isn’t a black hoodie and a pair of jeans or chinos no more. As I got older I started to embrace my fashion side it just got better and more defined, I didn’t just have fly sneakers or just a supreme tee. Now I don’t even gotta wear any brand shit out and I feel confident in what I’m wearing. As I grew so did my own style. Unless you just copy everything this should happen with everyone as they get older or if you just stick to thing your whole life but I doubt that would be the case.
He literally created his style. It was mainly skater clothes but with designs that scream odd future. His middle style was him being content with the uncomfortable change. The third is a fully realized style that he just keeps honing in on.
I thought his new style was prep meets street style. Like a prep school kid ditching his style to fit in with the cool kids (skaters and rappers), realizing he's being inauthentic and so returning back to the old style. But in the process he found his true self and the new style is a hybrid of all of his past identities. In other words, a rapper that plays golf at the country club.
As rapper mature u can see it in the way they start dress, little less flashy like old skool had big flashy chains now they wear smaller ones, more fitting clothes, classier brands and generally more calm and conserved kinda looks.
