They're literally still actively wintrading together as recently as yesterday. They just switched up the account names. Chocovanille is now Háppÿ Pøtatø and R5 Jungle is just playing under his Anticípation account. They've squeezed in at least 8 games together in just the past couple of days.

The couple have been doing this for too long, too bad they got queued with detective big T.

Honestly, i think its hard enough for a small org to grind it out, as such i think the org itself handled the situation quite well.

Getting matched consecutively with the same people and losing in those games is more terrifying than being suspected of boosting. And then at the next game when you are matched with them again you're just like: "fk you guys again?" And you all start trashtalking each other on champ select.

Team Ambition definitely handled this situation very well. I was actually surprised how honest they were about this situation, good on them.

This is so common. I personally know girls who get boosted by guys. They swear on their lives that they could do it all on their own. Then they drop back to silver and get boosted again. The title means more than actually being good at the game

its one thing paying for a service to boost a rank, it's another to gloat about it on social media as if you did all the work. Thats the part I never get. If I come across another D-M player in my games I don't think twice, but if you see them bragging everywhere how they finally reached it, then yeah, you naturally snoop to see if they are legit. 9 times out of 10, they aint.

I still don't understand why people want to do this stuff, it just takes away your effort and also the seratonin boost you get when you overcome the obstacle.

Holy shit, I actually stumbled across that tweet where naomi got masters a while ago coz some league streamers I follow congratulated her for it. Without any background, I thought it was an honest grind from someone playing a long time 😂

It's not specifically problematic for the manager to be a gf of the team. The most notable was when Fly's gf ran OG, knew that Fly was planning to leave the team if they didn't qualify for TI, and then continued the relationship while continuing to manage the org that her boyfriend literally betrayed (this incident will always be the GOAT of e-sports drama). Somehow, she was able to manage running an org that literally hated her boyfriend from a position of neutrality, so even the most egregious conflicts of interests are still able to managed successfully and professionally.

It's not "ee-el-oh", it's just "elo". It's not an acronym, it's named after the guy who created the elo rank system.

Interesting to see ImPerium hasn't changed at all with shady players and staff. Starting my rocket league "competitive career" with these guys back in 2017 to see news like this is kinda funny. Back at that time "Shadow" the LoL Team manager was actually the CEO of the org, but I left awhile after joining to seek better opportunities in competitive play. But you can't deny they both do more good than bad for their community(Portnoy is know for Barstool sports and has single-handedly saved hundreds, if not thousands, of local mom/pop pizza restaurants around the country).

They should have a solo queue only, they have flex for playing with your friends. Most have many friends, but few friends they actually want to play a game with for a long time. The chances of these players having the same skill level is low, and it will always be the person with higher skill level getting another account to play with the other. As more chance of winning = more fun = reason to smurf = wasting 8 other peoples time. Distorting the rank system massively. Flex queue would become more popular if you made it solo queue only. Which is not a bad thing at all. People are more aware that 5 man stacks means going against another 5 man stack most of the time. What people are not aware of, is that if you duo, you are more likely to go against a duo on the other team, this is why when i wanted to rank up years ago, I would solo it. % wise best odds of winning as if your team has a duo, hopefully they are boosting, and are better than the other duo on enemy team, but then its just a case of who is better booster, which is just like having a higher ranked game being played, just with 4 terrible players on each side. There is only one way to fix this, and riot will never do it, because taking away the ability to boost actually is a bad thing for them. They have to be seen trying to do stuff about it, as morally they "care about the game". When truthfully, smurfs mean more accounts, more money and more player basis for queue timers to be lower. All good things for the game, not for the players inside the game. As without the smurf, maybe neither of them players wanted to play the game that day. Done at a high level it is caught instantly because it is exposed. Riot look bad, so they have to deal with it, lucky for them, the org did it for them. But honestly, it is not hard to catch these kind of things on lower elo accounts. IP address switch in minutes that have different location, that are not close by. Obviously this is not the same person using the account. This could be done, and is not, because they are worried how many players this would ban. (30-40% of mid tier players i estimate). P.s. Before you say its not possible, the connect to their server, ip addresses info is given, it is not illegal to use these ip addresses for in house reasons. Its classed as personal data, so it need to be kept safe, but they can use it how ever they like, just like giving a email or phone number to a store to contact you. They can access that data as they please, but they cant pass it on. So it is easily doable for riot to implement a simple ip change notifier for an account. Where if an account is logged into. Then 10mins later its logged into from across the other side of the world. Its not the same person. Before you say what about VPN. Good VPN's will not change your fake IP unless you tell it to. So it would not cause a problem.

LoL is all about winning, you can get 10 time S and lose 10 games due to your teammates going 0/10 each and 4-1 ffing at 20 minutes. Performance doesn't matter. You can be the best player in the world, it doesn't matter. If your team loses, you're a loser. You can suck really bad and it doesn't matter either, if your team wins, you're a winner. Winners are higher elo than losers. LoL soloq in a nutshell. This is why elo boosting and wintrading happen. Because if you win with a D score you will be ranked higher than a loser with an S score in that very same game.

Been playing ever since the item changes from building your own to mandatory builds, I’ve encountered win traders saw the same 2 people and bye the time their what i assume is the weakest was on my team, they started playing even more poorly This was like 5 games in a row where the duo won against mine and lost it was literally 2 wins and 2 lose, then they were pitted against each other, we almost had it but guy was using anivia support and kept blocking us and saying oops. We somehow won that, reported them both but theyre still playing, since its owned by Garena so moderation is crap, stuck to rotating game modes and ARAM since the items changed

So basically best pr for that team ever... not bad... not bad...

Usually I feel a little bit bad for people that do something morally wrong and then get slandered by online communitys, because I dont know if they would feel genuine regret and try to better themselves. Most of the times their imagine is ruined forever and in some cases thats too harsh, but honestly this person in particular deserves it. Doing it again after being caught/warned and then bragging about it online. I dont care at all that they cant return to social media again.
