It's really beautiful to watch! I look at their feet, in the middle of the video when for many seconds we only see their legs and feet dancing in the edit and it is incredibly dramatical. It is theatrical, like watching a short film of two lovers interact with each other. It is funny too, when she places her feet in front of his legs and there is a pause and a provocation. I love the yielding and pushing of the legs and feet there. It was beautiful for me to see this tango and this moment with the legs and feet. Thanks for pointing me to it. It is beautiful editing! I know these moments from watching ballet and modern dance, when a detail of movement creates a whole reality within, but I am new to the tango, and this tango seems to be the kind of meeting of two bodies that I find so moving in some choreographies in those other dance forms, for it is egoless.
Thank you for a beautiful comment. It's very uplifting when someone not only appreciate the videography or the dancers, but can actually capture and analyze the idea behind the visual narration. We hope to read more feedback from you in the future.
Lovely to hear from you! Keep making those beautiful videos. I want to dance the tango now too! This kind of tango, your kind, where it's about communication and sharing beauty! Greetings from Berlin!
And since it is not visible in the edit, can I ask, what are the upper parts of their (or your?) bodies doing in this moment of "feet dance"? Are they still? I am asking, because, like I said before, I am a newbie to the tango and I am wondering if this feet and leg movement is a figure in tango, or if it is freely imagined in the narrative of this choreography? I feel like I could write a whole essay on the beauty and ideas of this choreography. They are great artists! Cheers!
