Everything right here is great but that voice! What a brilliant vocalist. He can really sing and you can feel the emotion. I hope he goes far and has a long successful career.
Chris Hammond this isn’t rock n roll but years ago I remember James Blunt singing Goodbye My Lover on Jules and it was AMAZING,like a “who is this guy moment” before he was famous. It’s in RU-vid,could hear a pin drop.
This is the reason jools Holland should never be cancelled. It always throws out gems like this every so often and makes be have hope there is still good music out there.
They only like bands who play along to the globalist Marxist-infiltrated BBC narrative though.. 'real' edgy bands like The Enemy for example they wouldn't go near yet the underground was alive to them. Back in the day, to play on the BBC or such was not cool... lol 'guess the internet will reclaim coolness away from the BBC yet again..
I'm almost 64 and this is the best musical talent to come out of Tyneside since Mark Knopfler in the 70's. Absolute gem and a nice down to earth fella as well, long may he remember his roots and enjoy all the success coming his way.
@@rubywine9487 big shout that mate mark knopflers a guitar icon, everything he did was with his fingers too. Sam's a beast and surely on his way to be the standout star of this generation, but let if happen first
Mark Smith not only men’s but also about women on his song greasy spoon. He’s clearly amazing. It’s very rare to find artists like him. I just wish he’d get more recognition. He deserves better
@@allexayare5459 its really the fact that mens mentle health issues are completly over looked compared to womens which makes this song so great. I mean suicide is the largest killer in the UK for men.
Early 20s and already such lyrics. Appreciate the fact he doesn’t write songs that are all and only about love as seems to be the case with a lot of them. Mental health problems are very real and I praise him for addressing it.
Have a look on RU-vid for his cover of Bruce Springsteen's Atlantic city. Obviously he's got tonnes of his own original material, like this, plus he's working on an album but that song just sound amazing to me. I do love his solo stuff like. Sorry Dean, and the rest of the band 💚
yes exsactly! I like 'play god' and 'greasy spoon' - brilliant! So unexcited the way he's performing - but... wow! It is the same "... I can't beliebe it..." feeling to me like it was when KoL came along with their album 'only by the night', 'because of the times'...
I Remember This And Felt His Nerves At The Start...........He Then Quickly Allowed His Heart And Soul To Carry Him Through His Debut Out Of Base Camp And Onward To The Summit.........Glad He Made It To The Top..........From One Proud North Easterner Of The Very Many.
Googled this fella after reading his comments about other bands. It’s not for me to put him down, anyone that writes and performs deserves a chance. Good luck young man, enjoy the ride.
