@@bolthead437 I drove 4 hrs without tickets to a sold out type o show and just happened to catch him before the show. He was giving an interview to someone local. We waited til he was finished to start bugging him but he got me and friends put on the guest list and even declined money.
I MISS THAT BIG DUDE!!!!! I MISS SEEING THEM 2 OR EVEN 3 TIMES IN THE FALL, ESPECIALLY AROUND HALLOWEEN! EVERY YEAR WHETHER IT BE THE ALBANY AREA, POUGHKEEPSIE OR NYC!!! The leaves would change, the air got cooler. You always knew the summer was definitely over when Type O was in town. It's just doesn't feel the same anymore.
I was there. Incredible! Although, i have to add, this was just before i really got heavily into the band, but at least i can say i did see them. I feel so privileged to have witnessed the guys in full flight. We fuckin' miss you, Peter, and we miss you Type o'... \m/
Oh I’m so jealous! I’m born in 1999 so I didn’t really get the chance to experience ToN. I really envy all the people who got to see them! What year did you see them perform?
I'm writing this on Halloween night of 2022, not only are Type O my favorite band of all time but they are the absolutely perfect band for October and the autumn season. RIP Peter you're a legend, and a big shoutout to the three other band members Josh, Kenny and Johnny who were just as integral to the band as the Green Man💚💚💚💚 Casket Crew for life!
@@ravenmadison7761 damn, it's been a year already haha. Lots of things have happened since I wrote that and Type O were there through the tough times to help get me through it🙏
Ten Years Without Peter !!!! R.I.P. Green Man , Wherever You Are !!! Great Fckng Memory's !!!! CHEERS For All The Type O Fans Around The World !!!!! Greets From Barcelona !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was really Peter and Josh's band for most of their existence. Josh hated interviews (and-lol-most people), so he was fine to have Peter do the interviews. Kenny and Johnny seemed to do more interviews in the last 5 or 6 years of the band b/c Peter was sick of them and/or off with a girlfriend and Josh still had the same stance. Plus, by the last 5 years or so, I think all the guys had had enough of the press and were content to be private and let the chips fall where they may...not to mention Peter's erratic behavior leading up to his '08 sobriety prob left the other 3 wondering what was really going on, so they chose not to say much.
